We're looking for recommendations for hot spring ryokans for a foreign couple visiting Kanto in August. Ideally, they'd like a place with traditional Japanese architecture and services, and English-speaking staff. Their budget is under ¥20,000 per person per night.

- Kissho Caren is a hot spring ryokan in Izu offering breathtaking views of Sagami Bay. You can enjoy a relaxing resort stay filled with hospitality at every turn, from the infinity-edge open-air baths to French kaiseki cuisine made with fresh Izu ingredients, and special services upon check-in and after your bath. True to its name, "The Celebration Inn," it's particularly popular for anniversary celebrations, making it highly recommended for special occasions like wedding anniversaries or birthdays.モモンガ's answer (Posted on:2025/7/ 4)

Enjoy Breathtaking Infinity Onsen Views and French-Kaiseki Cuisine!
- I stayed here with a friend previously, and it was a fantastic experience. While relatively close to Tokyo, the entire town exudes the atmosphere of a traditional hot spring resort, allowing you to truly feel the charm of old Japan. The highlight is undoubtedly the open-air "infinity" onsen, which feels as if it extends seamlessly into the ocean – it's absolutely magnificent! The cuisine is French-Kaiseki, a blend of French and traditional Japanese multi-course dining, which I believe is very approachable and enjoyable for foreign guests. mr's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)
