Hot Springs Ryokans with Rooms Overlooking the Atami Fireworks?
I'm planning a trip to see the Atami Sea Fireworks Festival with two friends. We'd love to stay in a hot springs ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) where we can enjoy the fireworks beautifully from our room. Do you have any recommendations? Our budget is around 20,000 yen per person per night. We're flexible on room and meal types.

My family and I recently stayed at Atami Korakuen Hotel because we wanted to enjoy the Atami Sea Fireworks Festivalleisurely from our room! The hotel's location, facing Atami Bay, is simply superb. We specifically requested an ocean-view room where we could see the fireworks when we booked, and we were incredibly moved by the powerful fireworks display from our balcony. Especially on fireworks days, the entire hotel was filled with a festive atmosphere, which added to the excitement.
For meals, you can choose between a buffet primarily featuring seafood or a more relaxed kaiseki (traditional multi-course dinner) meal, which is a great option. I chose the buffet, and the fresh sashimi and roast beef, among many other varieties, were all delicious. Dining while overlooking the ocean further enhanced the resort feeling. The hotel has an attached hot spring facility, and the open-air standing bath there offered a spectacular view that felt integrated with Sagami Bay. It's quite deep, so it might not be suitable for small children, but there are various other baths for the whole family to enjoy. There's also a large panoramic bath within the hotel, where we could enjoy a wonderful night view of Sagami Bay while bathing. Additionally, with shops, karaoke, and esthetic services, you can easily spend an entire day enjoying yourself within the hotel!ふろっぴ's answer (Posted on:2025/7/18)

You can watch the fireworks from the hotel
- You can see the fireworks very beautifully from the hotel's ocean-facing lounge. Of course, you can also see the fireworks outside, so it's nice to watch them outside while enjoying the cool evening air. The launch pad is also nearby, so you can see the fireworks on a large scale. There is a large observation bath where you can relax and enjoy the ocean and night view.やぎさん's answer (Posted on:2016/4/12)
