I'm going to Kairakuen, one of Japan's three most famous gardens, and I want to stay at Ryokan (Japanese inn) where I can eat monkfish hotpot!
My wife and I are planning to travel to Kairakuen, one of the three most famous gardens in Japan. Can you recommend Ryokan (Japanese inn) that is easily accessible from there and where we can eat the famous monkfish hotpot?

- This is also not Ryokan (Japanese inn), but it is a hotel that is attractive for its meals that allow you to fully enjoy the rich seafood of Ibaraki Prefecture. It is about an hour by bus from Kairakuen. In winter, it is popular for its luxurious course that includes "monkfish hotpot", a specialty of the hotel. The view from the open-air bath overlooking the Pacific Ocean is also wonderful, and you can relax and enjoy Oarai's natural hot springs.モモンガ's answer (Posted on:2025/7/10)

The view and the monkfish hotpot are recommended.
- It's a short drive from Mito, and if you take the train to Oarai Station, there is also a shuttle bus. It's on a bit of a hill, so the view of the river flowing into the sea is very beautiful. You can see it well from the hot springs, which have a good view. Of course, the monkfish hotpot is also delicious. Since it's a "Kanpo no Yado", the price is reasonable and I was satisfied.はなママ's answer (Posted on:2014/9/22)
