  • Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima
  • An inn where you can watch the sun set over the sea while soaking in a hot spring

I want to watch the sun set over the ocean while taking a bath in a hot spring. Can you recommend any inns with hot springs anywhere in Japan? I'm looking for a cheap inn that includes meals.

Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima

23-1 Motoujina-machi, Minami-ku

  • Beautiful sunset and ocean view

  • This hotel in Hiroshima has an open-air bath with Breathtaking view. You can enjoy the sunset over the sea while soaking in the hot spring. You can see the sea from each room, and you can eat seafood at a reasonable price. When I went there, dinner was a buffet, and I could eat as much oysters and steaks as I like, which are famous in Hiroshima. It's a great hotel where you can hold weddings. I think the satisfaction level is quite high.

Hotel Neuschloss Otaru

  • A hotel on the hilltop of Otaru

  • Located on a hill overlooking the Sea of Japan in Otaru, Hokkaido, the hotel offers a Breathtaking view view. Each room is equipped with an open-air bath, and the sunset you can watch while bathing will be a lifelong memory. Nearby is the Otaru Aquarium, which is said to be the best in eastern Japan.

Hokkawa Onsen Hotel

  • You can enjoy Breathtaking view of the fishing fires while bathing in the tatami-floored open-air bath, and also enjoy Kuroneiwa Onsen.

  • A reasonably priced hotel facing the sea in Higashiizu Town. The open-air bath on the rooftop offers Breathtaking view of the sea. At night, the fishing lights are fantastic. Guests can also enjoy the open-air bath "Kuroneiwa Onsen" on the shoreline, so they can enjoy the Breathtaking view springs with a spectacular view. The food was also very satisfying! My family has stayed here twice.

Aokiya

  • A hotel where you can enjoy the sunset at Ryotsu on Sado Island

  • You can see a beautiful sunset from your room or from the hot spring. It is reasonably priced if you use the ferry from Niigata Port to Sado Island. Pick-up is also available from the inn. The hot spring is lukewarm, so you can take your time and enjoy the sunset over the lake.

Tsunagi Onsen Hotel Shion

74-2 Yunodate, Tsunagi

  • The sunset is beautiful

  • We recommend Tsunagi Onsen Hotel Shion in Iwate Prefecture. There is a shuttle bus from Morioka. This hotel is located on the shore of Lake Gosho, so you can enjoy a lake view from every room. Taking a bath in the hot spring while looking out over Mt. Iwate and watching the sun set over the lake is an exceptional experience!

Onyado Toho

  • There are two large open-air baths

  • Higashiyama Onsen in Fukushima is recommended. There are two observation hot springs where you can enjoy the sunset while bathing in the hot spring. The hot springs are built on a fairly high floor of the facility, so it feels like enjoying an open-air bath on the roof of a building. It has been designed so that you can enjoy Breathtaking view from an observation deck filled with hot springs.

Hotel Grandmer Sankaisou

  • A hotel Breathtaking view spectacular view of the sunset and the Sea of Japan.

  • This hotel is located in a magnificent location surrounded by the beautiful Sea of Japan, Mount Iwaki, the Tsugaru Fuji, and the Shirakami Mountains, a World Heritage Site. I was told that I could see the sunset from my room around 5:30, and I was able to see a truly beautiful sunset. The food was very satisfying, with a menu that included local cuisine. I also enjoyed the free shamisen live performance, hearing the Tsugaru dialect.

  • Soak in the bathtub while overlooking the ocean

  • This is a hotel with hot springs in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture. You can enjoy the sunset over the sea from the bath. The sea is in front of the hotel, so there is nothing to block the view. A luxurious boat-shaped meal was served in the room. I couldn't finish it. This hotel is recommended by locals.

Taikanso Senami no Yu

2-10-24 Senami Onsen, Murakami-shi

  • open-air bath where the sun sets is a highlight.

  • A hotel in Niigata with a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan. Not only can you see the sunset from your room, but the open-air bath is very spacious and you can see the sunset from the indoor bath as well. You can even see the sauna from a certain angle. The service of water after the bath and towels (provided in addition to those in the room) was also good. Above all, the food was delicious!! I was very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. This is a hot spring where you'll want to stay for not just one night, but two.

Nanbuya Kaisenkaku

  • The sunset over Mutsu Bay is Breathtaking view.

  • It is located close to Asamushi Onsen Station in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture. It is wonderful to see the sun slowly sink into the bay as you gaze out at the expansive Mutsu Bay from the open-air bath. Accommodation fees are higher during Obon, the New Year holidays, and early August when the Nebuta Festival takes place. Prices are much cheaper off-season.

  • This is an inn where you can see a beautiful sunset.

  • The times when you can see the sunset are posted in the lobby every day, and the staff will guide you. You can see the sunset from the large public bath and the open-air bath. There are also private baths and foot baths. There are also other services available in the hotel, such as welcome service, table tennis, and a games corner. This is a recommended hotel overall in Senami Onsen, with regards to the food and service.
