Kusatsu Onsen Daitokan

This onsen(hot spring) inn is located in the heart of Kusatsu's onsen(hot spring) town, right next to the Yubatake. It boasts a Japanese and Western dinner buffet, with a wide variety of dishes made with seasonal ingredients, from Japanese dishes like sushi and tempura, to tempura fried right in front of you by the chef, and sukiyaki made with local brand beef. This is a recommended inn where you can not only fully enjoy the atmosphere of onsen(hot spring) town, but also enjoy delicious food.

The inn is conveniently located less than a minute's walk from the Yubatake, and you can see the Yubatake from there. It is also one of the few inns that draws its hot spring water directly from the Yubatake. There are two sister inns, so you can Visiting hot springs in each of them. You can also rent colorful yukatas in the inn, so it's a hot spring inn that really makes you feel like you're staying in a hot spring town!

This hotel has spacious Japanese-style rooms. The facilities are well-equipped, so you can enjoy yourself even in the hotel. Buffet food was also luxurious and very delicious. It is a little far from the Yubatake, but there is a bus from the hotel, so I think you can enjoy Kusatsu Onsen with your family.

If a super central location is a top priority for your group, consider this: There are traditional ryokans situated almost right in the heart of Kusatsu Onsen, making them incredibly convenient for heading out to all the different sightseeing spots. Many of these offer spacious Japanese-style rooms that can accommodate 5 or more people, so they're perfect for a group of friends like yours. Being so close to the Yubatake (Kusatsu's famous hot water "field," the town's main landmark) is a huge advantage for soaking up the town's atmosphere and, of course, for easy sightseeing. You can easily stroll over to see the Yubatake multiple times, perhaps in the evening when it's lit up, or early in the morning. It’s ideal if you want to easily explore on foot and be right in the middle of all the action during your graduation trip. You'd have quick access to shops, restaurants, and other local attractions right on your doorstep.

The inn is located just 18 seconds on foot from the Yubatake hot springs, and is a Kusatsu Onsen inn that can accommodate large groups. If you are staying with 5 friends, you can get a plan with 2 meals for 1 night on Rakuten Travel for around 10,000 yen, so it is highly recommended for graduation trips. Meals are served Buffet style, and you can enjoy plenty of Gunma Prefecture's specialty Joshu beef sukiyaki and seasonal vegetables from northern Kanto. The yukata for women are colorful and stylish, so your friends will be happy.

Located in a great spot overlooking the Yubatake, this is a long-established hotel that is part of the history of Kusatsu Onsen. The breakfast and dinner Buffet plan is a bargain at around 10,000 yen. Buffet is also appealing in that it allows you to enjoy the luxury of piping hot food from the live kitchen. It is a great place for students to make memories on their graduation trip, and the reasonable prices make this a recommended hotel.

If you are going to Kusatsu Onsen in Gunma Prefecture on a family trip with many men who eat a lot, we recommend this inn. The location, right in front of the Yubatake hot springs of Kusatsu Onsen, is a big plus, but the food is also satisfying. For dinner, you can choose between a buffet or a dinner course, and breakfast is Buffet. For both dinner and breakfast, you can enjoy plenty of meals made with ingredients from Gunma Prefecture.

This is one of the few inns in Kusatsu Onsen that draws water from the Yubatake hot spring source right in front of the inn. You can rent colorful yukata for free here. There is also a table tennis and games corner where you can have fun with your friends. You can also enjoy the strong acidic hot spring water in the elegant indoor bath with a waterwheel and soto-yu (public bathhouses) with stone lanterns. As for meals, you can eat Buffet style with about 80 kinds of menu items using local ingredients in the main dining room on the second floor.

夕食に和洋バラエティに富んだ80種類ものメニューのバイキングが食べられます。館内には広々とした大浴場と露天風呂があり、湯畑のお湯を100％かけ流しで楽しめます。女性には嬉しい色浴衣の無料レンタルがあるので、インスタ映えする写真が撮れますよ。草津温泉バスターミナルから歩いて５分の好立地にあり、湯畑が目の前にあるので、観光にも便利ですし、湯畑側の部屋に泊まれば、窓から湯畑が見下ろせます。夜はライトアップされて、とてもきれいですよ。
