Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention

We could go directly to the Rusutsu ski resort and enjoyed the hotel. There was also an amusement park. There were many restaurants and shops, and it was great to feel close to nature while soaking in the natural hot springs. The rooms were spacious and the view of the slopes was great. In the winter, there was an all-you-can-eat crab buffet, so we ate a lot of snow crab. There was also a seafood bowl that you could make yourself, and we topped it with lots of our favorite seafood. There was also a Hokkaido seafood fair. This is a recommended resort hotel where you can enjoy winter sports, Hokkaido cuisine, and hot springs.

The appeal of this hotel is its location directly facing Rusutsu Resort and the extensive facilities on offer. Rusutsu Resort has many slopes and the lift ticket price is relatively cheap. One-day tickets are also inexpensive, so we were able to enjoy skiing into the evening. We stayed in a standard Western-style room, which was spacious and we were able to relax. From the open-air natural hot spring bath, we could see the scenery of the snow, the mountains in the distance, and the sky, which gave us a sense of openness. There is also an indoor bath and sauna. There is also an indoor heated pool. The dining area was spacious, and we were able to enjoy the Hokkaido buffet to the fullest. There are many slopes, so you can enjoy a variety of courses. The view of Mt. Yotei is also wonderful. Night skiing is also recommended.
