Affordable hotel with natural hot springs, convenient for sightseeing at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine
This is an affordable hotel that is a 15-minute walk from Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. If you have a lot of luggage or are not confident in your legs, it is best to take a taxi to the city center. The station is also within walking distance, so it is recommended for sightseeing both before and after your stay. The meals are also luxurious, and the hotel has a large public bath and an open-air bath with natural hot springs, so you can relax and soothe your fatigue.

A hotel with great hot springs near the station and Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine
This business hotel is easily accessible, about a 15-minute walk from both Dazaifu Station and Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The hotel is on a hill, so it may be a little difficult to walk, but there is a free shuttle bus between Dazaifu Station and the hotel. There are plenty of hot spring facilities here, including natural hot springs, open-air baths, saunas, and bedrock baths. Although it is a business hotel, you can soothe your travel fatigue in the hot springs. There are both Western-style and Japanese-style rooms available. A breakfast Buffet is included, and the price is quite reasonable.

Speaking of affordable places around Dazaifu
If you're looking for a reasonable hotel in the Dazaifu area, you'll probably want to go to Route Inn Dazaifu. The standard plan is available for less than 10,000 yen per person. The road is a bit winding, but it's less than 2km from Tenmangu Shrine, so it's about a 15-minute walk away. It's a bit far from the station, but it's about a 5-minute drive from Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station, so taking a taxi is probably acceptable.

3 minutes by car to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine
Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is just a 3-minute drive from this hotel. I previously stayed in a twin room. The room was very spacious and had a modern, chic atmosphere, so I was able to relax very well. There is a large hot spring bath here, and the indoor bath is spacious. Outside, there are open-air baths such as Lying-down bath and a rock bath, which were very comfortable. This is a great place to take a break from studying for exams.
