From check-in to showing us to our room and explaining the facilities, we received kind and polite service. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a work kimono in the room, and children's pajamas. We were able to enjoy the hot springs while looking out at the Tsugaru Strait from the large public bath and open-air bath.

This hotel in Hakodate, Hokkaido, had a great large public bath where you could relax while looking out at the Tsugaru Strait. There was also a welcome drink. I stayed in a room facing the ocean, which had an open-air bath and foot bath, but even in my room I was able to spend a luxurious time bathing in the hot spring while looking out at the sea. The futon was a Tempur brand and was very comfortable to sleep on. The locally produced buffet had a wide variety of items, and there was a wide selection of delicious desserts. The service was excellent and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
