A hotel where you can feel at ease

The single room is simple, but has a calming interior, and since the room faces the mountain, it is very quiet. I was able to sleep well. There are also rooms facing the canal. The breakfast is also excellent, and although it is Buffet, it includes a variety of seafood unique to Hokkaido. I was able to enjoy a luxurious seafood bowl of my own style in the morning. Even on a carefree trip, a safe place is essential. This is a wonderful hotel with no flaws. The exterior of the hotel is made of stone, and the interior is retro and modern, with a Meiji era feel. It depends on the season, but you can stay here reasonably. I recommend choosing a plan that doesn't include meals, and going to eat sushi in the town of Otaru at night! It may seem a bit extravagant, but you can stay here cheaply in the off-season.

The night view of Otaru Port from the bar is beautiful.
The location and atmosphere is great, being right along the Otaru canal. There are suites and Japanese and Western room, so you can choose what you like. There are also many restaurants near the hotel, so it's convenient. The bar in the hotel had a circular interior with a dome ceiling, giving it an elegant atmosphere. It's on the top floor, so the view of Otaru Port and the North Canal at night from the bar was romantic and nice.
