• I'm looking for a hotel in Tenjin, but I think it's hard to find one for under 5,000 yen. The Toyoko Inn Hakata Ekiminami near JR Hakata Station is under 5,000 yen for the membership rate. It's a simple business hotel, but the amenities are more than enough.

• Affordable and safe hotel

• They have branches all over the country and the accommodation is cheap. It's a little far from Hakata Station, about a 15-minute walk, but the shuttle bus from Hakata Station comes to pick you up about once every 20 minutes. That makes it cheaper than other Toyoko Inns. The staff were very friendly. I use it often. There is a shuttle bus to Fukuoka Airport in the morning.
