5 minutes by train to Hakata Station
It is part of the famous business hotel Toyoko Inn group, so you can stay here safely even at a low price. The rooms are simple and not very spacious, but the overall service is well-balanced, with free breakfast and other amenities. The nearest station, Hakata Station, is about a 5-minute train ride from Fukuoka Airport. It is also recommended as a base for sightseeing.

Best Budget Hotels
It's a bit difficult to find something under 5,000 yen, but how about the budget business hotel chain "Toyoko Inn Hakata Ekiminami"? If you use the member price, a single room for one night with breakfast may fit within your budget. Please consider it.

Cheap Tenjin business hotel
I'm looking for a hotel in Tenjin, but I think it's hard to find one for under 5,000 yen. The Toyoko Inn Hakata Ekiminami near JR Hakata Station is under 5,000 yen for the membership rate. It's a simple business hotel, but the amenities are more than enough.

Affordable and safe hotel
They have branches all over the country and the accommodation is cheap. It's a little far from Hakata Station, about a 15-minute walk, but the shuttle bus from Hakata Station comes to pick you up about once every 20 minutes. That makes it cheaper than other Toyoko Inns. The staff were very friendly. I use it often. There is a shuttle bus to Fukuoka Airport in the morning.
