"Hotel East China Sea" Reviews & Details
"Hotel East China SeaReviews about "
- This is the hotel I stayed at when I stayed in Ishigaki Island before. All rooms have an ocean view, overlooking Ishigaki Port. Let's toast with delicious Okinawan food and wine while looking out at the sea! We also had fun chartering a car and going around Ishigaki Island. I also recommend taking a leisurely stroll on a water buffalo on the remote island. I think this is a wonderful hotel with good convenience for going to the city and going out to the remote islands.

A convenient and comfortable hotel located close to the remote island pier
- The first reason we recommend this place is that it is close to the remote island pier. You can travel to Taketomi Island, Iriomote Island, etc. by ferry, but the port is just a short walk away. It is also within walking distance of Ishigaki Island's downtown area, so you can stay here very comfortably. The location is also convenient for local buses, so you don't even need to rent a car.

Ishigaki Island is the best place for diving, and it's a perfect base for doing so.
- It is no exaggeration to say that Ishigaki Island is the best place in Japan for diving! This hotel is very convenient, as it is close to both the ferry departure point (remote island pier) for the remote islands in Ishigaki Island, the downtown area that is convenient for dinner, and the port where the diving boat departs. It is a little far from the airport, but if the three of us take a taxi together, it will not be a problem. There are many shops around, so you can use your time other than diving effectively. The hotel is a little old, and since it is right in front of the port, the rust caused by the sea breeze on the handrails on the outside of the building is noticeable, but the rooms are pretty clean. It is a resort-like hotel, but there is no pool or garden, but if you are traveling for the purpose of diving, you will be exhausted by diving almost the whole day on the day of diving, so I think it is better to think mainly about after diving. Therefore, I recommend this place, where you can stay for less than 10,000 yen per person per night and enjoy meals and shopping nearby. The diving shop will pick you up at the hotel. So, there is no need to rent a car. This plan suggested that we choose a hotel where diving is the main purpose.
