Kobayashiya Kinosaki Onsen

If you're a man traveling solo and looking for a true "adult hideaway," "Kobayashiya" is a perfect fit. This ryokan is located right in the heart of Kinosaki Onsen's famous willow-lined street. It's right next to the famous 'Ichi no Yu' public bathhouse, making it a prime location for strolling through the onsen town. The building itself is a Nationally Registered Tangible Cultural Property and full of charm, but the interior has been renovated and has a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Since it has only a few guest rooms, it doesn't have the hustle and bustle you find at a large hotel. I highly recommend it, both for its location and its atmosphere.

Kobayashiya is located almost in the center of Kinosaki Onsen, making it convenient for visiting the outdoor Visiting hot springs that are a specialty of Kinosaki. There are three private baths with different atmospheres in the hotel, making it a recommended hot spring inn for partner. There is also a parking lot, so you can travel by car with peace of mind. You can enjoy a fun hot spring date with your girlfriend. In addition, the delicious cuisine, which uses plenty of local ingredients from Hyogo Prefecture, including fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan that is unique to Northern Kinki, is also highly rated, so you can enjoy the finest gourmet food.

"Kobayashiya" is a registered tangible cultural property inn located in the center of Kinosaki Onsen, where you can stay in tasteful rooms. It is a small inn with 12 rooms, and the hotel has an indoor bath where you can bathe all night. It is a 7-minute walk from Kinosaki Onsen Station, and is conveniently located for Visiting hot springs. There are plans for one person, as well as plans with breakfast only or without meals, so it is a recommended inn.

I stayed at Kinosaki Onsen in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, alone at the end of the year a few years ago. Even though I was traveling alone, they provided me with a normal room just like other people, and they brought meals to my room. It probably depends on the plan, but they will accommodate requests for other meals you want to eat besides the set meals (although I didn't ask for them). Since it's Kinosaki Onsen, the indoor bath is small and you can't expect much, but soto-yu (public bathhouses) are great, so I don't think the hot springs will be a problem. However, the building was built in the 1950s, so I'm concerned about drafts.
