- All 11 rooms at this inn are independent guest cottages. There are 4 private open-air baths. Each room has a different atmosphere, so it's hard to decide which room to choose. We are proud of our cuisine, which is visually appealing and mainly uses seasonal local vegetables. Check-out is at 11:00, which is a little late, so you can relax and unwind.

An inn where all 7 hot springs are available for private use
- The main house and 11 independent guest cottages buildings stand on a 15,000m2 site, and the inn exudes a hideaway-like, adult atmosphere. It's the perfect place to spend some private time with your girlfriend. There are seven indoor and outdoor baths of various types and sizes, all of which are available for private use, so you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot springs just the two of you. The food is creative cuisine made with seasonal local produce from the mountains and sea, and both dinner and breakfast are delicious.

It is a relaxing inn.
- This inn is located in a quiet place independent guest cottages from the tourist attractions of Yufuin. When you check in, you are sent off with "Welcome back" and when you check out, you are sent off with "See you". It feels like you are back in your second home. They will lay out your futon for you and you can spend a luxurious time doing nothing. The vegetable stew is excellent. The chopsticks are handmade and surprisingly light and fit your hand well. We stayed in independent guest cottages without a bath, so it was a bit difficult to go to the bath. For some reason, it rains when you go to Yufuin. I have stayed at this inn about five times. Outside the hotel, it is best to make a reservation for the Yufuin gourmet "P Roll" by the day before. For lunch, I recommend "Budoya". Or you can go to Beppu and eat Seki Aji or Seki Saba at "Heike"?

A detached inn with an open-air bath on a vast site
- married couple and I went there to celebrate a retirement. There are about 10 Japanese-style and Western-style inns on the vast grounds, and the exterior and interior of the buildings have a historic feel. There are modern facilities so you don't feel inconvenienced, but it feels like you're in a deep forest. There are open-air baths in each room, and there is also a small, separate one outside. The food is fresh and delicious, mainly made from vegetables grown on the inn's grounds. You can experience a calm and different world that is different from your usual life in the city. The futon made me feel like I was on a cloud.

Japanese traditions quietly nestled in silence
- This is an inn where you can enjoy the "tranquility" of being isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are many adult-only guests, so I think it's a good place for married couple to relax. All rooms are independent guest cottages, and the layout of the rooms is spacious and calming. The large open-air bath, which is well-maintained in every corner, is also noteworthy, and I wanted to stay several nights just for this bath. When I stayed here, I remember thinking, "I bet great writers wrote their works in inns like this." It's a great inn where you can feel the good old Japanese traditions, which sets it apart from resort hotels with the latest facilities.
