  • This is a long-established hotel located on the shore of Lake Ashi in Hakone. You can see Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji from the hotel's courtyard. We stayed in the main building, but we had a beautiful view of Lake Ashi and the mountains. There is also a hot spring in the annex, although it is a little far away. We enjoyed roast beef at the buffet for dinner, and had Japanese food for breakfast. The red fish saikyoyaki and stew were very delicious. The hotel is close to Hakone Shrine, Lake Ashi sightseeing boats, and the Komagatake Ropeway, making it a good hotel to use as a base for sightseeing in Hakone.
