"Kusatsu Onsen BounReviews about "

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) that boasts free-flowing water from the Kusatsu Onsen hot spring source

  • This is a historic Ryokan (Japanese inn) that was founded in 1599. There are six baths, including an open-air bath, with two hot springs, so you can enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content. Please note that the washing area can be cold in winter due to the high altitude. The famous Yubatake, pictured here, is within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing. There are rooms with open-air baths, so you can enjoy a private open-air bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water. There are both Western-style and Japanese-style rooms, so you can choose the room that best suits the people you're going with. The food is delicious, and is served in 4-5 portions so you can eat freshly cooked water.

  • Two Rare Spring Sources and a Classic, Serene Atmosphere

  •  If you're looking for a quiet place to stay in Kusatsu Onsen, I highly recommend Boun. It's a 'shinise,' a long-established ryokan (traditional inn) with a rich history, so it has a wonderfully calm and sophisticated atmosphere. It's not loud or chaotic at all; it's the perfect place to truly appreciate some quiet, 'adult' time alone. But the main highlight, without a doubt, is the onsen (hot springs). They have baths drawing from two different spring sources, "Sai no Kawara" and "Bandai-ko," which is actually quite rare, even for Kusatsu. With six different baths right in the ryokan, you can enjoy 'yu-meguri' (onsen hopping) without ever leaving the building. The outdoor bath (rotenburo) is especially tranquil. It's the perfect spot to just relax and gather your thoughts in peace.

  • Take your family to Kusatsu Onsen this spring break! Boun is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) within walking distance of the Yubatake hot springs.

  • This inn boasts an abundant amount of 100% natural hot spring. You can enjoy the hot springs at your leisure with your family. Dinner is kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )using seasonal ingredients from Gunma. You can also enjoy sightseeing in Kusatsu, such as strolling Yumomi (A technique in which a board approximately 180cm long is placed in the hot spring to stir the water and lower the temperature until it is ready to bathe.) the hot spring town and watching the Yumomi show.

  • 6 minutes walk from Kusatsu Bus Terminal, pick-up service available

  • We highly recommend "Boun" in Kusatsu Onsen, which is conveniently located just a 6-minute walk from Kusatsu Bus Terminal. Pick-up service is also available upon request. This hot spring inn is located in the center of the hot spring town, about a 3-minute walk from the Yubatake, and is a long-established inn that has been loved by many literary figures. The hot springs, which are drawn from two sources, "Bandaiko" and "Sainokawara," for the six baths, are all free-flowing from the source. You can enjoy the quaint indoor and outdoor baths to your heart's content. For meals, you can enjoy a Japanese meal that features seasonal ingredients and the flavors of Joshu.

  • With the solo travel plan, you can have dinner and breakfast in your room.

  • "Boun" is a long-established inn that was founded in 1599, and is easily accessible, being just a five-minute walk from the Yubatake. It offers a plan for solo travelers, and is recommended as it offers both dinner and breakfast in your room. There are six baths in the building, including indoor and outdoor baths, all of which are elegant wooden buildings, and you can enjoy two types of 100% natural hot spring. Both the building and the rooms have a calm and quiet atmosphere, making it the perfect inn for adults to spend their holidays.

  • A hot spring inn perfect for girls' trips in Kusatsu

  • You can rent colorful yukata here, choose from a variety of colors and patterns, and stroll around the hotel and hot spring town in them. The atmosphere of the inn is perfect for women, and I enjoyed the gentle warmth of the wood used throughout the building. There are Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, and both have recommended interiors.

  • An inn where you can enjoy two hot springs, Kawahara Onsen and Bandaiko Onsen.

  • This hotel has rooms with open-air baths, so we were able to enjoy dinner in our rooms. The best thing about the open-air baths in our rooms is that we can use them whenever we want without any worries. The tasteful design made for a luxurious time. The large open-air bath was also spacious, and we enjoyed a blissful time here while gazing at the natural beauty. Another nice feature was the service of choosing colorful yukata from a wide range of options.

  • This inn has a calming Japanese atmosphere.

  • You can enjoy seasonal scenery such as flowers (rhododendrons) and autumn leaves on the premises. There is an open-air bath in the building where you can enjoy two types of hot springs. Meals are standard Japanese cuisine. In addition, steaks and fried chicken can also be ordered, so foreign guests who are not familiar with Japanese cuisine can feel at ease.
