Founded in 1926, it is a Japanese-style Ryokan (Japanese inn) that combines retro and modern styles. The hot spring water flows directly from the source. The open-air bath, carved into a huge 6-ton monolith, is particularly special as it offers a view of the nightscape of Beppu city. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable.

• There are three buildings in total, and no matter which one you stay in, you can use the various baths in all of them. On the first floor of Sansuikaku, there is a granite open-air bath, an indoor bath, and a men's and women's open-air bath. There is also an indoor heated pool, an athletic gym and a sauna. There is a high-temperature bathtub, a low-temperature bathtub, a cypress bath, and a sauna on the 3rd floor of Rinkawakaku. There is a large granite observation bath that can be entered 24 hours a day on the 9th floor of Hisenkaku. Also, there are two private baths and a bedrock bath on the 4th floor of Rinkawakaku. There are various plans for meals, but the Japanese-style room of Sansuikaku or Hisenkaku, and the Japanese-Western equality plan seems to fit within the budget.
