Our room was incredibly spacious with a chic, sophisticated interior that was just lovely. The best part was the window, which gave us a private, panoramic view of Beppu Bay. Guests of the Sora-kan wing also get exclusive access to 'Sora-yu,' a scenic rooftop onsen. It has a much calmer and more intimate atmosphere compared to the main 'Tanayu' baths, allowing you to enjoy the view in a more private setting. The dining was also a special experience, with a dedicated restaurant for Sora-kan guests serving a magnificent buffet.

• You have to check out Tenyu in Hakone! The amazing thing is that every single room comes with its own beautiful open-air onsen bath, made from traditional Shigaraki pottery. It was the ultimate luxury to be able to soak in my private bath on the balcony, feeling the crisp, fresh air of the mountains. It's your own little sanctuary. While the main public infinity onsen is stunning, there's something truly special about enjoying the high-quality spring water in the comfort of your own room, anytime you please. My favorite way to relax there: after a long soak, just sit out on the balcony chairs and peacefully take in the view. It's absolute bliss.​​​​​​

• Lake Toya is right in front of you, so when you soak in the open-air bath, it looks like the water is flowing down onto the lake. There is also a large bathhouse in the style of a Showa-era public bath, which has a completely different atmosphere and is interesting. Overall, the hotel has a modern Japanese feel, making it a relaxing place to stay.

• Enjoy the Seto Inland Sea in an infinity world

• This hot spring inn is located in Ako, and from the open-air bath in the large communal bath you can enjoy Breathtaking view view of the Seto Inland Sea. There are no fences in front of the infinity bath, and it is one with the sea and sky. I was able to relax with the sound of the waves as background music. The indoor bath is made of glass, so you can enjoy the view of the sea from inside the bath as well. The food is a kaiseki meal with plenty of fresh fish, which is unique to Ako. The sashimi is also excellent. The specialty, salt-grilled sea bream, is a taste that can only be found here. There are rooms facing the sea and the mountains, and I chose the sea side, so I could see the sea from my room. It was a wonderful inn where I could relax.

• I recommend "Kokoro no Resort Umi no Bettei Furukawa." This inn is right in front of the Hokkaido sea, and you can feel as if you are one with the sea. There are a variety of room types, including Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, and rooms with terraces, so I recommend it. For meals, you can enjoy Shiraoi brand beef and fresh fish sashimi, which are recommended. The view of the sea from the bath is also amazing, so I recommend it.
