• I recently stayed at Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Atami and absolutely indulged in their all-you-can-eat snow crab! Beyond the crab, the buffet offered a wide variety of seafood and meat dishes, which were all delicious. The hotel is conveniently located near Atami Station and the beach, with a lively shopping street right outside. I enjoyed great ocean views from both the lobby and my room. While the open-air bath didn't offer much of a view since it's in the city, I still had a relaxing time in the onsen. The vibrant atmosphere and excellent service made for a fun and perfect family trip!

• Many of Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group's locations offer all-you-can-eat crab, but if you're coming from Tokyo, I recommend Atami. It's just a seven-minute walk from Atami Station, and has Japanese-style rooms that can accommodate up to seven people, so it's recommended for groups of friends as well as three-generation family trips. Although it's only available during the winter months from November to February, there is a plan where you can eat all-you-can-eat crab, not just the legs, and you can enjoy not only crab but also nigiri sushi and locally caught fish dishes. If you drink alcohol, you can also add all-you-can-drink alcohol for an additional fee.
