  • Please recommend some cheap hotels and hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) that offer all-you-can-eat crab!

I'm thinking of taking my crab-loving parents on a trip to show my appreciation for them. We plan to go in the winter, so please let me know if there are any hotels or hot spring resorts where I can enjoy an all-you-can-eat crab buffet. Please let me know of any hotels with low accommodation rates, where I can eat brand-name crabs, and where there are few tourists so I can spend a quiet time.

TAOYA Nasu Shiobara

  • There is an all-you-can-eat plan where you can enjoy the whole snow crab.

  • How about a stay at the hot spring inn "TAOYA Nasu Shiobara" in Nasu Shiobara, Tochigi Prefecture? The all-inclusive nature of this inn is what makes it so appealing, but it also offers an all-you-can-eat real snow crab option as a special order. With the highest-end plan, you can enjoy a whole real snow crab, so you can enjoy not only the meaty claws and legs, but also the rich crab roe. From the open-air observation bath, you can get a panoramic view of the lush Nasu Shiobara mountains and the hot spring town, so it's also a highly recommended hot spring inn.

  • This hot spring resort hotel offers all-you-can-eat snow crab.

  • Although it's a little far from Nasu-Shiobara Station (a 40-minute bus ride), this hotel is well worth it. If you choose the meal plan, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat snow crab at the dinner buffet! It's also all-inclusive, meaning that not only alcohol at dinner, but also drinks in the lounge, late-night snacks, and other in-house dining options are almost all included, so you can eat and drink without worry. They also offer a wide selection of Japanese dishes, including tempura, sashimi, and nigiri sushi, and you can even eat as much Häagen-Dazs ice cream as you like! They also offer sparkling wine for breakfast. The open-air observation bath, surrounded by the Nasu mountains, offers Breathtaking view view. Enjoy traditional Japanese activities like table tennis and karaoke during your stay at a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn).
