  • TAOYA Nikko Kirifuri
  • Please recommend some cheap hotels and hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) that offer all-you-can-eat crab!

I'm thinking of taking my crab-loving parents on a trip to show my appreciation for them. We plan to go in the winter, so please let me know if there are any hotels or hot spring resorts where I can enjoy an all-you-can-eat crab buffet. Please let me know of any hotels with low accommodation rates, where I can eat brand-name crabs, and where there are few tourists so I can spend a quiet time.

TAOYA Nikko Kirifuri

1535-1 Tokorono

  • A hot spring resort hotel at an altitude of approximately 1,000m

  • You can spend an extraordinary time surrounded by magnificent nature at a hotel located inside a national park. There is a shuttle bus, so even if you can't use a car, you can access the hotel without any problems as long as you can access JR Nikko Station or Tobu Nikko Station. There is a shuttle bus timetable on the official website, and no reservation is required, so there is no need to prepare in advance. (As of July 2025, the shuttle bus costs 110 yen one way.) The food is a creative gourmet Buffet, and the all-you-can-eat crab is an additional order. You can add it from 5,780 yen. You can drink as much alcohol and soft drinks as you want, so I think you will be satisfied. The hot spring is an infinity type, so you can experience the sunrise in the morning and the beautiful starry sky at night while feeling one with nature. I'm sure it will be a great memory!

  • Infinity Onsen & Crab Feasts in Nikko

  • My recent stay at TAOYA Nikko Kirifuri, an Oedo Onsen Monogatari resort in Tochigi Prefecture, was truly excellent. The infinity onsen offered absolutely stunning views! From the open-air bath, I could take in the majestic nature of Nikko, and the sunset views were particularly breathtaking. The onsen itself was incredibly spacious and refreshing. Dinner was a lavish buffet with a wide selection of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, including many local specialties, and everything was incredibly satisfying. They even had an all-you-can-eat crab option! My room was stylish, modern, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing space. Plus, the convenient shuttle bus from Nikko Station made getting around super easy.
