Kosekiya Bekkan

417 Ginzan Shinhata, Obanazawa-shi

  • Enjoy delicious local cuisine almost in the center of Ginzan Onsen!

  • Located almost in the center of Ginzan Onsen, Kosekiya Annex serves warm local cuisine made with seasonal ingredients from the mountains and the sea! The interior of the building, which retains a strong hint of the good old days and exudes the scent of Taisho-era romance, makes you feel like you've traveled back in time, and we had a wonderful time enjoying the delicious food!

  • We recommend the luxurious plan where you can enjoy Obanazawa beef and abalone.

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) serves delicious original kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with locally grown vegetables, mountain delicacies, and fresh seafood from Shonai. They also serve homemade hand-made soba noodles. There is also a luxurious plan where you can enjoy Obanazawa beef and abalone. The inn is built on a hilltop above Ginzan Onsen, so you can enjoy a great view of the mountains from all the rooms. The views from the large communal bath and open-air bath are also amazing. Although it is a little independent guest cottages from the center of Ginzan Onsen town, there is a free shuttle service to the hot spring town at night, so you can experience the atmosphere of a Showa-era hot spring town.
