Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel

12 Tokachigawa Onsen Minami, Otofuke-cho, Katou-gun

  • Great Variety of Baths to Enjoy the Moor Onsen

  • At Tokachigawa Onsen's Daiichi Hotel, you can experience the Moor Onsen in many different types of baths. The spacious open-air garden bath is a highlight, but for a more private experience, I highly recommend a room with its own private open-air bath, fed directly from the hot spring source. The shimmering, amber-colored water is like a natural skin toner, and you'll definitely feel how moist and hydrated your skin is after your bath.

  • Enjoy the "Beauty Hot Spring" to Your Heart's Content

  • If you're looking for a free-flowing Moor Onsen, also known as "Bijin-no-Yu" (Beauty Hot Spring), you should definitely check out the Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel. The Moor Onsen here is rich in plant-derived organic matter and is often called a "natural skin toner" for its powerful moisturizing effects. For the best experience, I especially recommend a guest room with its own private, free-flowing open-air bath. You can savor the Beauty Hot Spring in complete privacy, whenever you like.

  • We recommend the Sasai Hotel onsen(hot spring). You can enjoy the "moor onsen(hot spring)," a rare hot spring known worldwide for Bijin-no-yu (a hot spring of beauty) straight from the source. The hotel is particular about its food, so you'll be satisfied with dinner. You can choose between a buffet or a course meal in a private room. The meat dishes, which are grilled right there at the buffet, are particularly delicious and are sure to be a memorable experience.
