Hotel Intergate Kyoto Shijoshinmachi

387, Mukadeyacho, Nakagyo-ku

  • Kyoto hotels popular with foreigners

  • This hotel has a modern Japanese interior and a large public bath. Many foreign guests stay here. The breakfast Buffet has a wide variety of dishes and is delicious. Sparkling wine is provided free of charge for breakfast on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, making for a luxurious and extravagant morning. Events and workshops are regularly held in the hotel, allowing you to experience traditional Kyoto culture. This is why it is popular with foreigners too.

Hotel Emion Kyoto

20-4, Sujaku Donokuchicho, Shimogyo Ku

  • Kimono rental and dressing services available

  • Hotel Emion Kyoto has a large public bath and is recommended as a place to experience culture. The first and second floors of the hotel are commercial facilities, and there is a kimono rental shop, so it is convenient to put on one and go for a stroll. There are also many other restaurants where you can experience tea ceremony and enjoy Kyoto cuisine. The hotel's breakfast service was also enjoyable, with a buffet of Japanese and Western dishes. I stayed in a standard room, and the toilet and bathroom were separate, which was very convenient.

Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura - Urushitei

425, Kichimonji-cho, Shimogyo-ku

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) you can experience Japanese architecture and culture

  • Located in the center of Kyoto, this is a perfect Ryokan (Japanese inn) for sightseeing in Kyoto. Although there is no hot spring, Ryokan (Japanese inn) regularly holds programs where you can experience Japanese culture that is popular with foreigners, such as kimono dressing, sencha tea ceremony, and ikebana flower arranging, so please inquire in advance if you plan to stay. There are both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, but the Japanese-style rooms are recommended as they allow you to fully enjoy the Japanese atmosphere.

Kadensho, Arashiyama Onsen, Kyoto - Kyoritsu Resort

5-4, Arashiyamanishiichikawa-cho

  • A relaxing natural hot spring inn with easy access and tatami flooring

  • First of all, it's very convenient for sightseeing because of its good access. By the way, the hotel also offers a free kimono walk transfer plan. In addition to the indoor and open-air bath, the natural hot spring also have a barrel bath, sauna, and bedrock bath, and best of all, you can use the five hot spring baths for free at any time, so you can bathe with friend without hesitation. The rooms are also equipped with tatami mats, so you can take off your shoes and relax while experiencing Japanese culture. There are also plenty of free services such as popsicles after the bath.
