  • Hotel Park Hills
  • Hokkaido, Shirogane Onsen - Can you recommend a hot spring inn to stay at after visiting Shirogane Blue Pond?

My family and I are going to the popular tourist spot "Shirogane Blue Pond" in Biei, Hokkaido, and after that we would like to stay at Shirogane Onsen. We would also like to take a bath in the open-air bath, so please tell us about a hotel in Shirogane Onsen that has an open-air bath and is recommended for family trips.

Hotel Park Hills

  • Convenient access to the Shirokane Blue Pond. Open-air bath with natural hot spring water.

  • This is a representative inn in Shirogane Onsen, with an open-air bath. The natural hot spring water is of good quality and leaves your skin feeling moisturized. The location was also great, allowing you to spend a quiet time surrounded by nature. It is also convenient for accessing the Shirogane Blue Pond. The food was a buffet, but it was very delicious and there were many dishes made with ingredients from Biei, so I was very satisfied.

  • When it comes to food, Park Hills is a good choice.

  • There are several hotels in Shirogane Onsen, but if you are going with your family, we recommend the Park Hills Hotel, which offers a buffet style meal. Not only does it have a wide variety of food, but it also serves local Hokkaido cuisine.

  • A hot spring inn convenient for sightseeing at the Shirokane Blue Pond

  • How about Hotel Park Hills? It is a hot spring inn convenient for sightseeing at Shirogane Blue Pond. It is located about 25 minutes by car from Biei Station. The hotel has an open-air bath, a large communal bath, and a sauna. The hot spring water is a sodium-magnesium-calcium sulfate chloride spring, which has excellent skin-beautifying and heat-retaining effects. For meals, you can enjoy fresh vegetables from Biei.

  • It is close to the Shirokane Blue Pond.

  • This inn is located in Shirogane Onsen, about 3.4 km from Shirogane Blue Pond. The hot spring, 100% natural hot spring is known as the "bath where you forget your walking stick." There is a large Japanese-style bath and an open-air bath, as well as a large Western-style bath and an open-air bath, where you can relax and soothe the fatigue of your journey. Dinner is an all-you-can-eat buffet with sushi, mountain vegetable pizza, and dishes made with local Biei vegetables. There is a period when you can join a bus tour to observe the stars and light up the Blue Pond, which is also recommended.

  • A hot spring inn with good access to Biei's Blue Pond

  • The Blue Pond is about 3km away from the hotel, so it can be easily accessed by taxi. You can enjoy the natural hot springs as much as you like in the large open-air bath. Meals are buffet-style, and you can enjoy all-you-can-eat dishes made with locally produced ingredients.
