  • Hokkaido, Shirogane Onsen - Can you recommend a hot spring inn to stay at after visiting Shirogane Blue Pond?

My family and I are going to the popular tourist spot "Shirogane Blue Pond" in Biei, Hokkaido, and after that we would like to stay at Shirogane Onsen. We would also like to take a bath in the open-air bath, so please tell us about a hotel in Shirogane Onsen that has an open-air bath and is recommended for family trips.

Morinoshizuku RIN

Shiroganeonsen

  • Just 3 minutes to Biei's Blue Pond! A budget-friendly lodging with a price tag of less than 12,000 yen per person.

  • In addition to the Blue Pond, there are plenty of sightseeing spots in the surrounding area, so this is a recommended inn. The Blue Pond is a 3-minute drive away, and it is also close to Shirahige Falls, known as sacred places, and the flower field Shikisai-no-Oka. You can enjoy visiting those places as well. In the open-air bath, you can enjoy the seasonal scenery while bathing in the Shirogane Onsen hot spring water 100% natural hot spring. The accommodation fee, including two meals, is less than 10,000 yen, making it a reasonable price for a family trip.

  • The Blue Pond is about 3km away, and you can enjoy a charming open-air bath with natural hot spring water!

  • The hotel's accommodation rates start from around 12,000 yen per adult for a non-smoking Japanese-style room of 9.5 tatami mats and two meals. The bath is a genuine natural hot spring that is completely discharged from the source. There is a large public bath (with sauna bath) and an elegant open-air bath surrounded by forest. For dinner, you can enjoy a Japanese meal in the restaurant, made with plenty of Biei beef and local vegetables. You can choose between Japanese and Western breakfast.

report

  • A quiet hot spring inn surrounded by the majestic nature of Hokkaido.

  • If you're looking for a place to stay in Shirogane Onsen, we recommend Mori no Shizuku RIN (Daisetsuzan Shirogane Kanko Hotel). Surrounded by the lush nature at the foot of Mt. Tokachi, you'll forget the hustle and bustle of the city for a while. This hot spring inn boasts plenty of hot water, and you can enjoy it to your heart's content in the rustic open-air rock baths. It's also easily accessible, about 3km from Shirogane Blue Pond. There are also spacious rooms of about 10 tatami mats, making it a great choice for families. The meals, which use Hokkaido specialties and local Biei ingredients, are also highly rated.
