What are the best cheap hotels for a trip to Universal Studios Japan?
I'm planning a 2-day, 1-night trip to Osaka, mainly to Universal Studios Japan. Which hotel would you recommend to get the cheapest possible price? I don't mind walking a bit, so if you have any tips on how to get the cheapest price, please let me know.

- I recommend the Hotel Keihan Universal Tower. It's just a little over 10 minutes by train from Osaka Station. It's also just a short walk from USJ. There is an additional fee, but they also have a panoramic hot spring, so you can make the most of your stay at the hotel. They also have some very reasonable accommodation plans, so I highly recommend it.エイム's answer (Posted on:2016/4/ 5)

The recommendations will change depending on what you consider to be the main focus.
- As you probably know, you do a lot of walking inside Universal Studios. You'll get more tired than you'd think. This hotel has a large public bath on the 31st floor, where you can stretch your legs and soak in the hot water. Recover your body on the day and enjoy sightseeing to your heart's content the next day.るき's answer (Posted on:2016/10/25)

A hotel with a hot spring!
- I honestly recommend staying at an official hotel near Universal Studios. No matter how you spend your time in the park, you will be walking a lot, which will affect your itinerary for the next day. The Hotel Keihan Universal Tower near USJ has a spacious hot spring bath.なな's answer (Posted on:2017/2/17)

It's an official hotel so you can be sure it's there.
- If you're going to Universal Studios, it's best to stay at a hotel nearby. You'll be walking a lot in the park, so you'll be pretty tired by the time you leave. The hotel I recommend is the Hotel Keihan Universal Tower. It's located right next to the park.はるか's answer (Posted on:2017/5/16)

This is the official hotel.
- This hotel is conveniently located just a minute's walk from Universal City Station, and offers easy access to the theme parks. A large hot spring bath is available, so you can refresh yourself after your trip. The hotel's accommodation rates are reasonable considering its convenient location.DERNIER's answer (Posted on:2017/6/28)

It's a bit far but it's a cheap hotel.
- To save as much as possible, I recommend staying in an area a little independent guest cottages from the USJ area. There's no way to save on the entrance fee. "Toyoko Inn Osaka JR Noda Ekimae" is cheap. Even taking into account the transfer time, it takes just over 30 minutes to get from this hotel to USJ. Please consider it.あぶ's answer (Posted on:2017/1/ 5)

A budget hotel near USJ.
- If you are looking for a cheap hotel for your USJ trip, how about "Toyoko Inn Osaka JR Noda Ekimae"? The official hotels are expensive, so we recommend a reasonable business hotel. This hotel is located near Noda Station, 3 train stops (7 minutes) from USJ.どんどん1555's answer (Posted on:2019/2/11)

A perfect base for sightseeing in Osaka
- It is very close to JR Osaka Station and can be reached from the underground mall. Osaka Station is the central station of Osaka and is the most convenient base for sightseeing in Osaka. There is also a direct bus to Universal Studios Japan from the station. It takes about 10 minutes one way. The hotel is still new and clean.大阪大好きっ子's answer (Posted on:2016/4/ 5)
4. Hotel Mikado

Cheap accommodation
- Are you looking for a hotel where you can get the lowest possible accommodation price? If so, why not consider this "Business Hotel Mikado" as one of your options? You can stay for one night at a very reasonable price if you choose a room without a bath or toilet. I would be happy if I could meet your request.miyosiko's answer (Posted on:2017/5/ 3)

Go directly to the nearest station to USJ
- It's close to JR Shin-Osaka Station, so if you can get there by Shinkansen, you don't have to transfer. There's also a direct train to USJ station (even if you can't get there, you only have to transfer once), so access and transportation costs are reasonable. Since it's a youth hostel, the bunk beds in the dormitory are very cheap. You may be sharing a room, but it's a friendly atmosphere. You can also stretch your legs in the large bath, so you can relax and soothe the fatigue of the day.はなママ's answer (Posted on:2015/5/ 5)

I chose it because it was cheap.
- If you want to get a reasonable price for your accommodation, how about "J-Hoppers Osaka Universal"? It's a guesthouse, so it's cheap! What's more, you can walk to Universal Studios, so you can save time and travel costs. Use the money you save to buy merchandise and eat.たこべー's answer (Posted on:2017/11/ 6)

We recommend combining an overnight bus with a cheap hotel.
- If you are coming from Tokyo, the cheapest option is to take an overnight bus. I recommend the La'gent Hotel Osaka Bay, which is about a 10-minute walk from Universal Studios Japan. There is a convenience store next door, and it is a very clean hotel. I also like that the toilet and bath are separate, and the amenities are great. If you book early, you can get a cheaper price!みーしゃん's answer (Posted on:2018/3/ 7)

There is a shuttle bus to Universal Studios Japan.
- The hotel is within walking distance of Tennoji Station, so it is easy to use. A shuttle bus is also available on some days, so we recommend checking in advance if you would like to use it. Another attractive feature is that the price is not too high even during peak seasons. You can see the night view from the rooms, so you can enjoy the travel feeling even after returning to the hotel.はがせとうち's answer (Posted on:2023/11/29)
