  • What are the best cheap hotels for a trip to Universal Studios Japan?

I'm planning a 2-day, 1-night trip to Osaka, mainly to Universal Studios Japan. Which hotel would you recommend to get the cheapest possible price? I don't mind walking a bit, so if you have any tips on how to get the cheapest price, please let me know.

Hotel Keihan Universal Tower

6-2-45 Shimaya, Konohana-ku

  • This is the official hotel.

  • This hotel is conveniently located just a minute's walk from Universal City Station, and offers easy access to the theme parks. A large hot spring bath is available, so you can refresh yourself after your trip. The hotel's accommodation rates are reasonable considering its convenient location.

  • It's an official hotel so you can be sure it's there.

  • If you're going to Universal Studios, it's best to stay at a hotel nearby. You'll be walking a lot in the park, so you'll be pretty tired by the time you leave. The hotel I recommend is the Hotel Keihan Universal Tower. It's located right next to the park.

  • A hotel with a hot spring!

  • I honestly recommend staying at an official hotel near Universal Studios. No matter how you spend your time in the park, you will be walking a lot, which will affect your itinerary for the next day. The Hotel Keihan Universal Tower near USJ has a spacious hot spring bath.

  • The recommendations will change depending on what you consider to be the main focus.

  • As you probably know, you do a lot of walking inside Universal Studios. You'll get more tired than you'd think. This hotel has a large public bath on the 31st floor, where you can stretch your legs and soak in the hot water. Recover your body on the day and enjoy sightseeing to your heart's content the next day.

  • Simple hotel

  • I recommend the Hotel Keihan Universal Tower. It's just a little over 10 minutes by train from Osaka Station. It's also just a short walk from USJ. There is an additional fee, but they also have a panoramic hot spring, so you can make the most of your stay at the hotel. They also have some very reasonable accommodation plans, so I highly recommend it.
