I'm going on a solo trip to Gero Onsen. Can you recommend a place to stay with a Japanese-style, relaxing room?
I'm thinking of going to Gero Onsen by motorcycle. Please tell me a good hot spring inn with a Japanese-style, relaxed atmosphere for a man traveling alone. I'd like something around 13,000 yen per night with meals and free parking.

Good value for money, solid hotel
-
This hotel is located a little independent guest cottages from the center of Gero Onsen. However, the hot spring water is of good quality in Gero, and in addition to the large public bath, there is also an open-air bath. It is clean and comfortable to soak in, and will help you relax after your trip. And since this is a BBH hotel, the price is low and parking is free. There are BBH hotels all over the country, but this hotel is definitely a hit. So the value for money is excellent. The rooms are fully equipped with Japanese-style rooms, and the meals are very filling. I think you will be satisfied with the delicious food made with Hida beef and locally produced ingredients. The customer service was also excellent considering the price.ともやん1105's answer (Posted on:2021/5/ 3)

A long-established hotel with very reasonable prices
- Although the building is a little old, we recommend it for its reasonable price. It is possible to stay alone, the meal includes kaiseki cuisine, and there is an open-air bath. It is located a little independent guest cottages from the center of Gero Onsen, so the surroundings are quiet, and the view of Gero city from the room is wonderful. Of course, there is a parking lot, and it is very convenient as you can walk to sightseeing spots in Gero city. We recommend it.hahata's answer (Posted on:2021/2/ 7)

Large public bath, open-air bath, sauna, breakfast and dinner Buffet available, perfect for solo travelers!
- To begin with, there are few lodgings that allow solo travelers. Lodgings at Yukai Resort are slightly more expensive, but they do allow solo occupancy. There is a large public bath, an open-air bath, and a sauna, and both the bath and sauna can be used for a long time, excluding cleaning times. I doubt there is any other place where you can use the sauna for such a long time. The massage chairs after a bath are a nice touch. The breakfast and dinner Buffet include fair dishes in addition to the regular menu for dinner. There are also plenty of free soft drinks and desserts. In the morning, the place is bustling with breakfast staples, local ingredients such as grilled fish and eggs, and freshly picked vegetables and fruit.Shinryuken's answer (Posted on:2022/11/21)
