• If you are in Tokachi Onsen, "Dai-Ichi Hotel Hoshutei/Toyotei" is a good choice. You can get a panoramic view of the Tokachi River and the magnificent Tokachi scenery from the inn. I stayed at "Toyotei", which is a Japanese-modern building. The bath was very spacious and open. I was able to relax in the hot spring while feeling the nature of Tokachi close by. There was also a wine cellar where you could enjoy wines from Hokkaido to around the world. There is also a kids' playroom and amenities for children, so it is also recommended for family stays. There are several restaurants to choose from, including teppanyaki and Japanese kaiseki.

• The spring water, called moor hot spring, is said to be very good for the skin. The view from the open-air bath at "Kangetsuen" is amazing, and you can see far into the distance, so it's a recommended hotel. The food is also very satisfying, with a wide variety of dishes and elaborate preparations.

• This is a rare hot spring made from plants. It has been certified as a Hokkaido Heritage Site. It is a 20-minute taxi ride from Obihiro Station. In addition to seafood from the north, many of the vegetables are grown with minimal pesticides at affiliated farms. Enjoy a carefully prepared kaiseki meal using local ingredients.

• Whenever I go to Tokachigawa Onsen, I always stay at the Sasai Hotel. You can soak in the moor hot spring in the large public bath, and the shape of the bathtub makes it relaxing. The rooms are spacious, and the meals are Buffet style, with a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes on the menu, and they are all delicious.

• The service is stable and good at the Route Inn Group. The bath is a very spacious large bath and open-air bath, and it has a sense of openness, so I was able to take a leisurely bath in the mall hot spring. There is also a large observation bath. Meals are served Buffet style for both dinner and breakfast, and there are many dishes that make use of Hokkaido ingredients. There is also a shuttle bus from the station, so this is also convenient.

• The number of rooms is small, so the service is attentive. The dining area was also very relaxing and the food was very good. My children are small, so I was worried they would get bored with their meals and start moving around, but I was glad they were considerate enough to provide toys for them. Each room has its own unique style, so this is definitely a place I would like to stay again.
