  • Dormy Inn Premium Otaru Natural Hot Spring
  • Please tell me a recommended hotel near Otaru Station that has many repeat customers.

I'm going on a trip to Otaru in Hokkaido, and I'm looking for a hotel close to the station so I can easily go sightseeing. I don't mind a business hotel, so please let me know of a hotel that has a good breakfast and is highly satisfying.

  • Delicious Hokkaido Breakfast

  • I recommend "Tomonoyu Dormy Inn Premium Otaru." It's a slightly luxurious business hotel with a hot spring. For breakfast, they serve several local Hokkaido dishes. They also serve seafood bowls, which you can make yourself and eat with lots of seafood on the plate. It's close to the station, and it's a very satisfying hotel.

  • Hotel near Otaru Station

  • It's just a one-minute walk from Otaru Station. It's a relatively new hotel, so the building and rooms are clean. There is a large public bath, and there are many types of baths, such as a cypress bath, a rock bath, and a ceramic bath. It has an atmosphere that evokes the romance of the Taisho period. The breakfast had a variety of dishes, including a seafood bowl, which was nice. It was very satisfying, and is suitable for both business trips and family trips. There are also many convenience stores and restaurants near the hotel, making it convenient.

  • You can eat seafood bowl for breakfast

  • It was conveniently located just a minute's walk from Otaru Station. I stayed here on a weekday for a business trip. Breakfast was a Japanese and Western Buffet, but you could add as much seafood as you like, including salmon roe from Hokkaido, and make your own seafood bowl. There was also a large public bath, so I was able to relax in the hot springs.

  • A business hotel located right next to Otaru Station

  • It is located just a short walk from Otaru Station. The rooms are simple and have internet access, making it convenient for business trips and other purposes as well as sightseeing. Breakfast is Buffet style, and there is a service where you can make your own seafood bowl with seafood such as salmon roe and shrimp, so you can enjoy the atmosphere of Otaru, a fishing port. There is also a wide variety of other meals. If you walk in a straight line from the hotel, you will arrive at the Otaru Canal, so please go there. The night view from the Otaru Canal is especially amazing. There is a large public bath, so you can stretch your tired legs after sightseeing.

Authent Hotel Otaru

2-15-1, Inaho, Otaru-city,

  • Dining with a view of Otaru Port

  • "Authent Hotel Otaru" is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Otaru Station. Although the accommodation fee is a little high, the hotel offers a wide range of services, including a large public bath with mist sauna exclusively for guests, and welcome drinks. There are multiple restaurants, and for breakfast you can choose from a Western-Buffet, Japanese-style set meal, or seafood bowl. At the Western-style Buffet, we were able to enjoy a leisurely meal at the restaurant on the top floor while overlooking Otaru Port.

  • Hokkaido's special breakfast

  • This hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from JR Otaru Station through the shopping district. The building is easy to find as it is an oval shape. Depending on the season, you can enjoy Japanese meals such as squid sashimi and salmon roe rice bowls. In addition to the Western-style Buffet with plenty of carefully selected Hokkaido ingredients, there are several other dining options.

HOTEL SONIA Otaru

1-4-20, Ironai, Otaru

  • A luxury hotel facing the Otaru Canal

  • This is a stylish luxury hotel facing the Otaru Canal. You can fully experience the atmosphere of Otaru. It is easily accessible, about an 8-minute walk from JR Otaru Station. Most of the rooms face the Otaru Canal, and you can enjoy an ocean view from the large windows. The rooms have a classical and calm atmosphere. There is also a hot spring on the top floor of the hotel, and you can look down on the canal while soaking in the bath from the men's bath. In addition to the large public bath, the women's bath has an open-air bath. Dinner was creative cuisine that was conscious of Otaru 's traditions and food culture, and was stylish and delicious. Breakfast was a Japanese and Western buffet with about 60 types of food, which was very satisfying.

  • Experience Otaru's history and food culture

  • The scenery is beautiful, and you can really feel that you are staying in Otaru. It is an area with a deep food culture, where the Kitamaebune ships anchored, and where many old things are found even in Hokkaido. There are many Osaka-like place names, which seem to be remnants of the people who moved there as Tondenhei soldiers from the Kansai region as fishermen. Therefore, the food culture is the best in Hokkaido.

Grand Park Otaru Hotel

11-3 Chikko

  • A seaside resort hotel located in Otaru's bay area

  • This city hotel is directly connected to a station in a large shopping facility, and the Otaru Port Marina is right in front of it. It's convenient for shopping and going anywhere. There are restaurants, hot springs, movie theaters, large supermarkets, and more, so you don't have to go outside. If you use JR, you can get to the airport without getting wet in the rain.

Hotel Nord Otaru

1-4-16,Ironai

  • A hotel where you can feel at ease

  • The hotel is located along the canal, about a 7-minute walk from Otaru Station. The European-style building is stylish and elegant, giving you a feeling of elegance. The single room is simple, but has a calming interior, and since the room faces the mountain, it is very quiet. I was able to sleep well. There are also rooms facing the canal. The breakfast is also excellent, and although it is Buffet, it includes a variety of seafood unique to Hokkaido. I was able to enjoy a luxurious seafood bowl of my own style in the morning. This hotel is satisfying both for its breakfast and the view.

Hotel Neuschloss Otaru

3-282,Shukutsu,

  • Very nice hotel

  • I stayed here for two nights, and the food was delicious, the room was nice, and the view from the bath window was great. There aren't many hotels where you can see the ocean from the bath, so I recommend it. It's also nice that the Otaru Aquarium is nearby! It's not that close to Otaru Station, but if you make a reservation in advance, they will pick you up from the station to the hotel, which is convenient.
