  • Any recommendations for a good onsen near Nagoya that's easy to get to by train?

My friend and I are doing a foodie trip to Nagoya and would love to unwind at an onsen ryokan afterwards. Any suggestions for a relaxing place that's less than a 90-minute train journey away?

  • Escape the Ordinary with Breathtaking Ocean Views

  • If you're searching for an onsen inn to leave the everyday world behind, Genjiko is the answer. Here, you can have a private viewing of the vast Ise Bay from most guest rooms and the scenic open-air bath. Watch as the scenery transforms throughout the day, from the sea shimmering under the sun to the beautiful sunset sinking below the horizon. Adding to the unique charm, the inn and its rooms are beautifully themed after "The Tale of Genji," the world's oldest novel, wrapping your stay in timeless elegance.

  • An Onsen Ryokan to Savor the Freshest Seafood of Ise Bay

  • For this ryokan facing Ise Bay, it's all about the fresh bounty of the sea. Its greatest pride is its kaiseki cuisine, a true masterpiece featuring the catch of the day alongside luxurious ingredients like Ise-ebi (spiny lobster) and abalone—it is, in a word, exquisite. Of course, the onsen is equally wonderful. The spectacular ocean view from the open-air bath is the perfect backdrop, and the healing properties of the natural hot spring are sure to soothe both body and mind after your incredible meal.
