I'm going to the quiet and historic Yumura Onsen. I'm planning a stroll around the hot spring town looking for hidden hearts, and a visit to the ruins of Takeda Castle. I'd like a room with an open-air bath, so are there any recommended hotels or Ryokan (Japanese inn)?

  • "Yukai Resort". They have stylish rooms with open-air baths, so I think it will meet your needs. It's in a good location along the mountain stream, close to the center of the hot spring area, quiet and calm, and the rooms are clean and very nice. Buffet also had a wide variety and was delicious.
