Want to go to Shirakami-Sanchi? Recommended hotels along the Gono Line
This fall, I'm going to hike the Shirakami Mountains with my boyfriend to see the autumn leaves. Are there any recommended hotels along the Gono Line? Around Aomori Station or Hirosaki Station would be fine.

- Along the Gono Line, you can feel the atmosphere of the north. If you want to see autumn leaves in the Shirakami Mountains, the Hotel Grand Mer Sankaisou was great. It is the most luxurious hotel in the area. I was impressed by the view of the majestic Sea of Japan from the open-air bath.あぶ's answer (Posted on:2022/8/31)

Beautiful sea view
- A great location where you can see the ocean from the rooms and baths. The food was delicious and had a wide variety of dishes for both breakfast and dinner. There was a Tsugaru shamisen performance when I stayed there, which was fun. There were various drinks available in the lounge. The local sake was also delicious.DERNIER's answer (Posted on:2017/9/ 5)

Enjoy the mountain and sea views
- This hotel is located along the Gono Line, and offers a view of the mountains and the sea. There was a guidebook for the Shirakami-Sanchi trekking course nearby. The hotel was very spacious, with a Japanese-Western style interior, and had a classical and retro atmosphere. The hot spring was also spacious, and I enjoyed the view of the sea from the indoor bath.ヤギヌマ's answer (Posted on:2017/9/ 2)

Feel the romance of the Taisho era
- I was able to enjoy seafood, mountain produce, and hot springs while looking out at the Sea of Japan. The nearest station is Ajigasawa Station on the JR Gono Line, but there was a shuttle bus to the inn. The inside of the building has a Taisho-era romantic atmosphere and is decorated with retro and stylish interiors.T14's answer (Posted on:2017/8/31)

Hotels in Nishitsugaru, Aomori Prefecture
- I recommend "Hotel Grand Mer Sankaisou". The hotel is located in a magnificent location surrounded by the Sea of Japan, Tsugaru Fuji "Mt. Iwaki", and the World Heritage Site "Shirakami-Sanchi". The food was very satisfying, with a menu that included local cuisine. The hot spring was also relaxing, with a view of the sea.ああああ's answer (Posted on:2017/8/29)

Rooms and baths with ocean views
- How about Hotel Grand Mer Sankaisou? The nearest station is Ajigasawa Station on the JR Gono Line, and there is a free shuttle from there, so it's very convenient. The room was an elegant Japanese-style room, and we could see the ocean from the room. The large communal bath and open-air bath were both Japanese and Western-style, and it was great to be able to see the ocean from the bath. The food was also a buffet, mainly using local Aomori ingredients, and we could enjoy freshly cooked food in the open kitchen.ウイングチップ's answer (Posted on:2017/8/29)
