  • A lodging where you can enjoy soto-yu (public bathhouses) with 100% natural hot spring at Kurokawa Onsen

I'm going to Kurokawa Onsen with my wife, who loves hot springs. I'd like to stay at an inn where we can enjoy going around to several soto-yu (public bathhouses) with 100% natural hot spring water. Can you tell me if there are any good inns?

  • It is a convenient location for Visiting hot springs.

  • The location is about 40 minutes by car from Aso Station, making it a convenient location for touring the outdoor Visiting hot springs. The baths are milky white water that 100% natural hot spring, and we recommend relaxing in the open-air bath. The simple sulfur spring water is expected to be effective against neuralgia. For meals, you can enjoy a kaiseki meal made with local ingredients, including Higo beef.

  • This is an inn where you can enjoy visiting soto-yu (public bathhouses) at Kurokawa Onsen.

  • This inn is located near the center of Kurokawa Onsen, making it the perfect place for a hot spring hopping tour (a bath ticket for 1,300 yen is sold at reception desk). The hot springs are also expected to have various health benefits, and there is an open-air bath and large bath where you can enjoy the smell of sulfur and the steam rising from the hot springs. As for food, you can eat fresh vegetables from Aso, Aso's red beef, and Kumamoto's specialty horse sashimi.

  • A plan that includes a "bath ticket" for entering three open-air baths

  • You can purchase a "bath ticket" at reception desk to enjoy an open-air bath other than the one you are staying at, out of the 24 open-air baths in Kurokawa Onsen. Of course, the hot spring at this inn is also 100% natural hot spring.

  • A 5-minute walk from Kurokawa Onsen town. A mysterious hot spring that changes color depending on the time of day.

  • Located within walking distance of Kurokawa Onsen town, you can enjoy Visiting hot springs. The hot springs inside the hotel are sulfur springs that change color from white to blue depending on the time of day, and boast moisturizing and heat-retaining properties. You can also enjoy a Japanese banquet meal made with local ingredients. This is a reasonably priced inn where you can enjoy Kurokawa Onsen.
