Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Hotel Reoma no Mori

40-1 Ayautacho Kurikumanishi

  • This is a hotel where you can enjoy both the food and the open-air baths.

  • This beautiful official hotel of New Reoma Forest is located about a 15-minute drive from JR Kotohira Station. It also has convenient access to ShikokuAquarium. You can relax in a variety of open-air baths, including natural hot springs, natural herbal baths, and highly concentrated carbonated springs, surrounded by forest. Meals are served Buffet style in the spacious dining room, where freshly prepared meals are provided in the live kitchen. The roast beef, steaks, sashimi, sweets, and more are all delicious.

Kotosankaku Hotel

685-11 Kotohira-cho, Nakatado-Gun

  • Hot spring inn near Shikoku Aquarium

  • Kotosankaku is a hot spring inn located about 30 minutes by car from ShikokuAquarium. It is also close to Kotohira Shrine, making it convenient for visiting the shrine. It has spacious rooms of over 10 tatami mats, so it is also good for families. You can fully enjoy the hot springs in the large public bath and the open-air bath.

Konpira-Onsen Yachiyo

611,Kotohira-cho,Nakatado-gun

  • The rooms with panoramic baths, which have been featured on TV programs, are wonderful!

  • It is about a 30-minute drive from ShikokuAquarium, and you can enjoy nature such as Konpira-san from the open-air rooftop observation bath (men and women alternate use, but there are also times when there are Mixed-Gender Hot Springs times). For those who want to spend a luxurious time, we recommend a plan that includes meals and a stay in a room with an observation bath. You can enjoy seafood and meat from the Seto Inland Sea and relax in a luxurious room.

Yumoto Kompira Onsen Hananoyu Koubaitei

556-1 Kotohira-Cho, Nakatado-Gun

  • I think it takes about 40 minutes by car.

  • I think it takes about 40 minutes by car. This is the largest hotel in Konpira Onsen. The facilities are extensive and you can stay comfortably. Dinner was in a private room and was very delicious. There were many different hot springs, so it was fun.

Sakuranoshou Kotohira Grand Hotel

977-1 Kotohira-Cho, Nakatado-Gun

  • Enjoy the scenery of Konpira and various baths

  • It is about 30 minutes by car or 50 minutes by train from ShikokuAquarium. The hotel is close to Kotohira Station and the approach to Kotohira Shrine, making it convenient for sightseeing. You can enjoy the healing scenery of Konpira-san and the nature of Sanuki. The hot springs, which are said to have skin-beautifying effects, can be enjoyed in an open-air bath or a bath with roses floating in it.

Ajikanko Hotel Umino Yadori

5494 Ajimachi

  • 45 minutes by bus from Takamatsu Station

  • "Umi no Yadori" is a 45-minute bus ride from Takamatsu Station, and is a hot spring inn in a great location with a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea. The rooms are elegantly furnished, with impressive wooden construction and beautiful walls. There are also windows from which you can enjoy the view outside. You can enjoy the atmosphere and mood in the large open-air bath, and the indoor large bath is also beautifully equipped.

Asan Kotonami

1 Katsura, Manno-cho, Nakatado-gun

  • A luxurious hot spring in the middle of nature

  • This inn is surrounded by nature and is a 50-minute drive from ShikokuAquarium. The hot spring has a beautiful view that can only be found in the mountains, and you can enjoy the luxury of bathing in the hot spring while looking at the forest in front of you and listening to the birds chirping and the sound of the waterfall. You can also see the starry sky well, so couples can relax in the open-air bath in the guest room, and families and friends can enjoy the view from the "Stargazing Terrace" and then chat in the Japanese hearth with a hearth. Even though it is in the mountains, Wi-Fi is available, so you can rest assured.

Shin Kabakawa Kanko Hotel

1-6 Yasuharakamihigashi Shionocho

  • If you're looking to stay at a hot spring hotel near Shikoku Aquarium, this is the place for you.

  • This inn is located an hour's drive from ShikokuAquarium. You can enjoy the hot spring waters of Shionoe 100% natural hot spring to your heart's content in the large public bath, open-air bath, and the bath in your room. Meals are served in the restaurant, where you can enjoy Sanuki's specialty white miso hot pot pork for dinner and a Japanese breakfast for breakfast.

Onyado Shikishimakan - Kotohira Hotspring

713-1 Kawanishi, Kotohiracho

  • Located about 30 minutes from Shikoku Aquarium

  • I recommend Kotohira Onsen Shikishimakan. It's about 30 minutes by car from ShikokuAquarium, or about an hour by train. It's located facing the main approach to Kotohira Shrine. There are indoor and outdoor baths, and the cypress barrel bath is perfect for relaxing alone. For meals, you can enjoy a kaiseki meal of seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, and you can get free "Yonakisoba (noodles sold by a hawker at night)" as a midnight snack, so it's a great deal if you're feeling a bit hungry.
