  • I want to relax at a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Sanin

I am planning a trip to relax at a hot spring inn in Sanin (northern Yamaguchi Prefecture, Tottori Prefecture, Shimane Prefecture, northern Kyoto Prefecture, northern Hyogo Prefecture). Are there any inns with a large room that can accommodate seven people, including my grandparents?

Tamatsukuri Onsen, Tamayucho, Matsue

  • Great accommodation with a great view

  • There is a free shuttle from Tamatsukuri Onsen Station, so it is an inn that can be easily visited. Upon entering the stately building, you will be greeted by a large lobby with a ceiling. The hot spring water that the inn is proud of is gentle on the skin and makes it smooth. There are plenty of things to enjoy, including an open-air observation bath where you can see a panoramic view of nature, an open-air rock bath, and a foot bath. There are two rooms, one 12.5 tatami mat room and one 4.5 tatami mat room, which are connected together, so three generations can spend a relaxing time together.

  • The spring quality is good

  • If you're looking for a hot spring inn in the Sanin region, I think Tamatsukuri Onsen is the best, and this is one of the long-established inns, with delicious food made with local ingredients and well-equipped facilities. Of course, the hot springs are impeccable, and I recommend this place for family trips.
