Ryokan Yufuintei

1027-3 Yufuincho Kawakami

  • A recommended place to stay in Yufuin to show your appreciation to your parents

  • All rooms are independent guest cottages and come with their own hot spring, so you can relax in your room. You can enjoy the clear, colorless free-flowing hot spring not only in the rooms, but also in the open-air baths where you can look out at the starry sky. In addition, after your bath, a free server and hot spring eggs are provided in the arbor (resting area). As for meals, you can enjoy creative kaiseki meals made with seafood and local vegetables. The specially ordered dishes, Seki horse mackerel sashimi and Bungo fried chicken, are particularly delicious.

Yufuin Iyotomi

  • There is a plan available that includes an 8 tatami mat Japanese-style room with toilet and two meals for 15,000 yen per person!

  • At this inn, you can stay overnight and have two meals in a relaxing Japanese-style room. For dinner, you can enjoy lava-grilled Oita Wagyu beef and a kaiseki meal made with local vegetables and seafood from the Bungo Channel. In the morning, you can enjoy a Japanese set meal that includes hot spring rice porridge. The baths at this inn use a hot spring source that is over 90 degrees Celsius, which is mixed with spring water from next to Mt. Yufu, and the hot spring water is drawn into the indoor bath, open-air bath, and private bath. The indoor bath is open 24 hours a day.

Yufuin Kotobuki Hananosho

Kawakami 2900-5

  • A hotel in Yufuin with open-air baths

  • This inn in Yufuin has natural hot springs and some rooms have open-air baths made of ceramics. It's also recommended as a gift trip for your family. In addition to sukiyaki made with Japanese black beef and local chicken, you can enjoy dishes that incorporate plenty of local ingredients, such as rice and vegetables from Oita.

  • A independent guest cottages hot spring inn with only 10 rooms on a vast site of approximately 7,000m2

  • This hot spring inn has only 10 rooms on a vast site of about 7,000 square meters. It is located in a quiet rural area overlooking Mt. Yufu, and you can spend a relaxing time in privacy in independent guest cottages building. Not only do all rooms have a half-open-air bath with running water, but you can also enjoy a bath in a private family bath. For dinner, you can enjoy beautiful original kaiseki cuisine made with local seasonal flavors. I think this is the perfect Ryokan (Japanese inn) to show your parents your gratitude.

  • A villa-like Ryokan (Japanese inn) that represents Yufuin

  • This is an interesting hot spring inn that features a special interior in a relocated old house. It is also famous as one of the three great Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Yufuin. When you enter the room, you will be greeted by magnificent furnishings. The bath in the room is also spacious and full of atmosphere. However, there is no large communal bath or open-air bath on the premises. To be honest, this is a place I have always longed to stay at. It is Ryokan (Japanese inn) I would like to visit at least once.
