  • Wafu Ryokan Tsuenosho
  • A small inn with an open-air bath where you can enjoy Breathtaking view

I'm planning a girls' trip to Yufuin. I want to relax in a small inn, not a large Ryokan (Japanese inn) or hotel. Can you recommend a nice inn where I can enjoy Breathtaking view from the open-air bath and taste the local cuisine?

Wafu Ryokan Tsuenosho

2093-4 Kawakami

  • A small inn with a view of Mt. Yufu and limited capacity of 8 groups

  • You can bathe in the open-air bath with free-flowing hot spring water at any time, and you'll forget about time. You can enjoy the view of Mt. Yufu and the rice terraces in front of you while relaxing and sipping the scent of nature. The washing area in the bath is made of tatami mats, so you won't feel the coldness of stone. This is a ryokan that boasts delicious food from the countryside and skin-beautifying water that is 100% from the inn's own hot spring, so it has the atmosphere of a simple, old-fashioned Ryokan (Japanese inn) and is very clean. Also, in the summer, fireflies are said to fly in the river in front of Ryokan (Japanese inn). The food, which consisted of locally grown rice and Japanese-style side dishes with gentle flavors, was so delicious that I had to have several refills. landlady and staff were all very nice, and it was an inn with great attention to detail.

Ikkoten

302-7 Kawakami,Yufuin-cho

  • A hideaway inn that only accepts 10 groups per day. Enjoy Breathtaking view and hot springs of Yufuin all to yourself.

  • This is a small-scale Japanese modern resort Ryokan (Japanese inn) that only accommodates 10 groups, and all rooms have a private open-air bath. Each room has its own unique charm, and the independent guest cottages guest rooms are cute, so you'll have even more fun choosing which room to stay in. The inn is surrounded by Mt. Yufu, so every room has Breathtaking view view, and the "upside-down" reflection on the surface of the open-air bath (like an upside-down Mt. Fuji) is very photogenic. This is a hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) recommended for those who want to take a slightly luxurious girls' trip.
