• The Japanese kaiseki cuisine made with a lot of local ingredients. There was a boiled pumpkin, green beans, and taro, as well as Kumamoto beef. The bath was an open-air bath that was integrated with the Japanese garden, and the water was very nice and spacious. There was also a private bath, so married couple could enjoy the bath by themselves.

• Located in Kurokawa Onsen, this inn boasts an open-air bath in the main building overlooking the Byobuiwa rock, with a total of 25 rooms. There are multiple open-air baths, each with a different atmosphere, so it was fun to take Visiting hot springs in each one. As for meals, we had a kaiseki kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with seasonal ingredients in a private room in the dining area. The specially ordered horse sashimi, salt-grilled sweetfish, and lava-grilled black wagyu beef were particularly delicious.

• How about "Kurokawaso"? It is located about 25 minutes by car from the last stop of the Tsuetate Onsen bus from Hita Station. There are several types of open-air baths, each with its own unique charm, so you will never get bored. For meals, we enjoyed local seasonal ingredients in a private room at the restaurant.

• The Visiting hot springs spring is a chloride spring and sulfate spring, and the water is a milky green color that is rare in Kurokawa. There are three family baths that can be used free of charge in the open-air baths for overnight guests, separate from those for bath-hopping guests. There are also rooms with open-air hot springs and indoor baths, so you can relax. Although it is not a guest room, you can dine in a private room upon request. The food is beautifully presented and the dishes are tastefully presented. Kurokawa Onsen has open-air baths until the end of May, but there are spots nearby.

• This is a traditional Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a hot spring in Kurokawa Onsen. The authentic Japanese style is wonderful. Meals can be enjoyed by married couple in private rooms. There are many outdoor baths, and I was particularly impressed by the outdoor bath with a view of the Byobuiwa rock formation.
