  • Accommodations in Kurokawa Onsen that offer in-room dining

  • This is an inn with a Taisho-era romantic atmosphere, located in a quiet mountain area in Kurokawa Onsen. There was a plan where you could have dinner and breakfast in your room. The open-air bath where you can relax while listening to the murmuring of the river, and the private family bath, each had their own unique charm and were both great. The food was kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )using horse sashimi and local beef from Kumamoto. The breakfast was a healthy and delicious Japanese meal using fresh local vegetables.

  • A charming Ryokan (Japanese inn) surrounded by beautiful nature

  • When in Kurokawa Onsen, how about staying at Ryokan (Japanese inn) Wakaba? It is a charming Ryokan (Japanese inn) surrounded by beautiful nature. You can enjoy the hot springs in the large, retro-style bath or the open-air bath. You can choose to have your meals in your room or kaiseki Japanese hearth. For the in-room meal, we had kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with Kumamoto local ingredients such as horse sashimi and red beef.

  • Recommended accommodations in Kurokawa Onsen with room-only plans

  • There is a plan for a stay without meals. There is an open-air bath with a sense of openness, and the women-only "makeup bath" will make your skin so smooth and moist that you won't need lotion. You can relax both body and mind, and relax in a calm room. You can fully enjoy the resort atmosphere, and it will surely be a wonderful memory.

  • Enjoy exquisite Japanese kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )in the privacy of your room.

  • This inn is popular for its homely customer service. We stayed in Japanese and Western room in the main building and ate a Japanese kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with carefully selected seasonal ingredients in our room. The food was all carefully selected, including salt-grilled yamame trout, horse sashimi, wagyu beef loin, and river trout carpaccio. There are two types of private indoor baths, so married couple can relax in them.
