  • Ryokan Misato
  • A lodging facility in Kurokawa Onsen with rooms for four people that offers accommodation without meals

I'm going to Kurokawa Onsen with 3 friends. Is there a place to stay with a room for 4 people? I want to stay reasonably, so I would prefer a room without meals.

  • This is a lodging facility in Kurokawa Onsen that offers accommodation with only meals and has rooms for four people.

  • Located in the center of Kurokawa Onsen town, this inn is perfect for hot spring hopping. They offer a plan where you can stay in a room for four people without meals. You can also enjoy the sulfur springs, which change color depending on the time of day (the color changes naturally from clear to light blue, blue, emerald green, and milky white), which are rare even in Kurokawa Onsen, in the open-air baths and indoor baths where you can feel the nature. Furthermore, if you purchase an admission ticket at reception desk of our inn, you can enter the open-air baths of 25 Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Kurokawa Onsen.

  • There is a plan for four people in one room with no meals included.

  • It is about 40 minutes by car from Aso Station. The bath is a milky sulfur spring that 100% natural hot spring. It seems to have a heat retention effect and a skin-beautifying effect, and it seems to make the skin smooth. The spacious open-air bath is recommended as you can relax at your leisure.

  • Kurokawa's only sulfur

  • "Misato" offers a plan for overnight stays only. Among all the Kurokawa Onsen hot springs, this is the only place where you can find sulfur springs. The spring quality is good and the soft texture of the water seems to have a skin-beautifying effect. After bathing in the open-air bath and the large bath, my skin became very smooth and it felt great.

The baths have good spring quality and are best enjoyed at dusk. Watching the sunset while taking a bath in a semi-open-air bath is the best. There is a counter by the window in the room where you can sit and relax while watching the view, and the terrace on the second floor with Japanese hearth is also a great space to relax. There is a free coffee service, and the soft espresso at this inn is very delicious, so please try it. Yama no Yado Shinmeikan

Manganji 6608

  • A Kurokawa Onsen inn where you can enjoy a cave bath

  • Shinmeikan is a Kurokawa Onsen inn where you can enjoy the healing properties of natural hot spring water in a variety of baths with plenty of water. The inn is famous for its cave bath, which was hand-dug over a period of 10 years. It also has 8-tatami rooms for 4 people, so it is recommended for group trips with friends. The meals, which use local ingredients from Kyushu and Kumamoto Prefecture, are also highly rated, but reasonable accommodation plans are also available.
