Lamp no Yado Aoni Onsen

1-7 Aza-Aonisawa Takinoue, Oaza Okiura, Kuroishi-shi

  • The illuminated Nakano Momijiyama is beautiful

  • The autumn leaves at Nakano Momijiyama are beautiful during the day, but the lighting in the evenings is artistically beautiful. Many people go there after having dinner at their inn. This inn is close to Nakano Momijiyama, so it's easy to get there, and you can enjoy the autumn leaves from the inn. The open-air bath was also very open, and we had a blissful time. The room was a simple Japanese-style room, but it was very clean. We ate around Japanese hearth, eating wild vegetables and river fish, which were simple and delicious, and you can't get that way in the city.

Naruko Hotel

36 Yumoto, Naruko Onsen, Osaki-shi

  • A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Furuyu Naruko Onsen

  • This inn boasts 140 years of history in the historic Naruko Onsen. It is located in the center of the hot spring town, just a 3-minute walk from JR Naruko Onsen Station, making it easily accessible. The hotel has three different hot springs on its grounds, and we were able to enjoy six baths. One stop west of Naruko Onsen, after passing through a tunnel, Naruko Gorge appears, with its dazzling autumn foliage. It is said to be the largest in the Tohoku region due to its scale.

Urabandai Lake Resort Geihinkan Nekoma Rikyu

  • Lakeside hotel in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture

  • How about visiting Aizuwakamatsu in Fukushima Prefecture? We recommend the Urabandai Lake Resort, located in Urabandai. It is a lakeside hotel adjacent to the lake. During the autumn foliage season, the beautiful autumn leaves are reflected on the lake surface. It's a picturesque scene.

Towada Prince Hotel

Nishikohan, Towadako

  • A resort hotel on the shores of Lake Towada

  • There are many spots to see autumn leaves in Tohoku, but the autumn leaves at Lake Towada were one of the most memorable. The contrast between the lake and the autumn leaves was amazing. There are also several observation decks, so you can see a variety of views. The hotel is a resort hotel located on the shore of Lake Towada. There are almost no buildings around, so it feels like a lakeside inn. For dinner, you can enjoy authentic French cuisine.

Resort Park Hotel Onikoube

Narukoonsen Onikōbe

  • Autumn leaves at Naruko Onsen in Miyagi Prefecture

  • This is a resort hotel located in a hot spring area in the northwest of Miyagi Prefecture. The surrounding area is famous for its autumn leaves and is very beautiful. The autumn leaves at Naruko Gorge are particularly spectacular. I recommend taking a leisurely stroll to enjoy the view. After that, the food and hot springs are sure to be exceptional.

Itsukushien

Minamitakinoue-15,Genbicho, Ichinoseki, Iwate

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) near Genbikei Gorge

  • This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Iwate, located right next to the scenic Genbikei Gorge. The hot spring has a large indoor bath and an open-air bath. It is a natural hot spring, and the bathtub made of cypress is recommended. The food was delicious, including Iwate's famous Maesawa beef and seafood from Sanriku. At Genbikei Gorge, you can also enjoy cuckoo dumplings, which are delivered on a string stretched across the river.
