• I have never seen such a large Buffet in a hotel. And it was delicious. As soon as I entered Buffet area, I was dazzled by the variety. I was also overwhelmed by the size and number of baths. There were various water temperatures, so I could choose according to my preference. It was like a bath Buffet. The staff were well trained and it was very comfortable.

It boasts a Japanese and Western dinner buffet, with a wide variety of dishes made with seasonal ingredients, from Japanese cuisine such as sushi and tempura, to tempura fried right in front of you by the chef, and sukiyaki made with local brand beef. This is a recommended inn where you can not only fully enjoy the atmosphere of the hot spring town, but also enjoy the delicious food.

• This is an inn where you can choose Buffet, and many dishes using local seasonal ingredients are available. The restaurant has a natural and bright atmosphere. The open-air bath in the large communal bath is Yubatake no Yu. You can enjoy high-quality strong acid spring water. This is a vast resort facility, and in addition to outdoor activities, there are plenty of indoor activities such as table tennis and bowling. It is also very pleasant to wake up early in the morning and enjoy forest bathing.

• My stay at Itoen Hotel Kusatsu was even better than I expected! The hotel is in a quiet spot, a little away from the Yubatake (hot spring source), but a free shuttle bus made getting around super easy. What really stood out was the high quality of the dinner buffet. They had an incredible variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, all constantly refilled and delicious. The open-air public bath, filled with Kusatsu's famous waters, was fantastic; the outdoor bath felt so liberating, like I was soaking right in the middle of a forest. The hotel also had great facilities like a ping-pong room, game arcade, and souvenir shop. It was a lively yet relaxing stay with excellent value for money!

• Our trip to Kusatsu Onsen led us to Hotel New Koyo. It's a bit removed from the central Yubatake, but their frequent shuttle service made sightseeing a breeze. Dinner was a highlight: the varied buffet featured a wide array of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, including local specialties. You could also order special dishes like crab and abalone, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The spacious public bath allowed us to fully soak in Kusatsu's renowned waters, melting away our daily fatigue. The outdoor bath was also large, offering a relaxing view as we soaked. I heard you can even enjoy a "snow view bath" in winter! It was surprising to find such a fulfilling stay at such a reasonable price.
