  • Kusatsu Onsen: Best Ryokan/Hotel for a Group of 5 (Graduation Trip)?

Hey everyone, A group of 5 of us university students are planning our graduation trip to Japan, and we're super excited to experience a traditional onsen! We've set our sights on Kusatsu Onsen and are looking for a hotel or ryokan where all 5 of us can comfortably stay in one room. Any recommendations for places that are good for groups and offer a great onsen experience? We'd love to find somewhere we can all relax and make some fun memories. Thanks!

Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Takamatsu

  • A great location for a large group to enjoy

  • The reason we recommend this inn is that it has rooms that can accommodate large groups, and it is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the Yubatake, the symbol of Kusatsu. The hot spring water is drawn from the Yubatake, so you can enjoy Kusatsu's famous hot springs to your heart's content, and you can choose from kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )or Buffet style meals depending on your budget, so you're sure to be satisfied.

  • This is a recommended inn for graduation trips where large groups can stay at Kusatsu Onsen.

  • This inn can accommodate up to five people per room. There are several reasonably priced accommodation plans available. You can also enjoy the natural hot spring water from the source of the chloride hot spring "Yubata" in the open-air baths on the wooden deck, including a cypress bath, a rock bath, and a ceramic barrel bath, as well as three baths with different temperatures in the large public bath: "hot water," "normal water," and "lukewarm water." As for meals, you can enjoy a Japanese meal made with local seasonal ingredients. The chopped tuna served at breakfast is particularly delicious.
