Kinugawa Kanaya Hotel

1394 Kinugawa Onsen Ohara

  • The best hotel to treat yourself to

  • This hotel is said to be the most hospitable in Kinugawa Onsen. The rooms, baths, and meals are all first-class. It has a quaint, valley-style villa feel to it. There are plans for single-occupancy Japanese-style rooms or Japanese and Western room, and in-room dining is available. At this time of year, the view of the autumn leaves from the open-air bath is truly beautiful and moving. The prices are a little high, but why not treat yourself?

Ryokan Marukyo

1388-3 Ohara

  • A special inn where you can experience charcoal hospitality

  • This is a special inn where you can experience the hospitality of charcoal. When you bathe in Tansumi-no-Yu, which is made with special charcoal, the charcoal placed in fish baskets and the benefits of Kinugawa Onsen combine to leave your skin smooth and silky. The bathtub is covered in charcoal, which stimulates the soles of your feet, and the far-infrared rays of the charcoal warm you to the core. There are also charcoal rooms where you can enjoy the soothing effects of charcoal, with walls made from natural materials that have charcoal mixed in and binchotan charcoal hidden in the bedding. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining area or in your room.
