  • Traveling to Kinugawa Onsen with kindergarten children! Accommodation with private baths

I am thinking of taking my kindergarten-aged child to Kinugawa Onsen. I would like to be able to relax in the hot springs without worrying about the people around me, so are there any inns with private baths?

  • There are four private baths with different themes.

  • This inn "Asaya" has four different types of private baths. The "Floating Garden Open-Air Bath" where you can enjoy the view of the Kinugawa River is also popular. The view from there is amazing.

Isshinkan

Kinugawa Onsen Taki 542-3

  • A Kinugawa Onsen inn where you can enjoy a variety of baths

  • Isshinkan is an inn where you can enjoy natural hot springs in a variety of baths, including a large public bath, an open-air bath, and a jacuzzi. Of course, there are also private baths. There are also spacious rooms of over 10 tatami mats, making it very convenient for family trips. In addition, the meals, which use plenty of local products from northern Kanto and local ingredients from Tochigi Prefecture, are also highly rated.

Nanaeyae

Kinugawaonsen Oohara 1060

  • An inn where you can see the beauty of the valley through the four seasons

  • This inn has a private bath where you can relax and enjoy the bath all to yourself. It may depend on the accommodation plan, but we were able to use two different types of private baths (one of which was different in style). The meals also incorporate local ingredients, and were all delicious.

  • This inn has five private open-air baths, each with its own resting area, so you can relax with your family after bathing. There is also a beauty salon on-site, so you can receive various treatments after bathing. They also offer a rental service for colorful yukata, so you can take instagrammable worthy photos. Dinner is a Kyoto-style kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with local seasonal ingredients. There is a games corner and karaoke room on-site, so you can have fun with your small children.

Kinugawaonsen Ohara 1438-1

  • The rooms with open-air baths are nice. Since it's not a hot spring, even kindergarteners can easily use it!

  • Of the 18 rooms at this inn, 11 have an open-air bath, and you can choose from a variety of different styles to suit your taste. Since it is not a hot spring, even small children can enter. There is also a private open-air bath (for a fee), but since this is also not a hot spring, even small children can definitely bathe. There is also a private rock bath. The large bath and open-air bath at the inn are of course hot springs, and can be used until midnight and from 5am. The hot springs are circulated and filtered, and there are almost no hot springs in Kinugawa Onsen that are directly fed from the source. You have to go to Okukinugawa to find them. The inn is very particular about the taste of its food, and the mountain produce is local ingredients, and the seafood is delivered directly from Boso and Numazu. The breakfast is very sumptuous, including grilled sea bream.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Kinugawa Kanko Hotel

359-2, Kinugawaonsentaki

  • You can use a private bath on a family trip.

  • Since the hotel is located on a hill, the view of Kinugawa Onsen from the lobby is the best. The view of the Kinugawa River from the open-air bath is also soothing! Of course, there is also a private bath. Dinner is a creative Buffet with over 60 types of Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes. Among them, we recommend beef teppanyaki, crispy tempura made with seasonal ingredients, and the live kitchen where Utsunomiya gyoza are grilled, which children will surely enjoy.
