Kinugawaonsen Oohara 1060

  • This is a recommended inn with Japanese-style rooms where you can feel the atmosphere of Kinugawa Onsen.

  • This inn is located along the Kinugawa Valley. It offers Japanese-style rooms with wide verandas facing the valley, giving you a tasteful feel. You can also enjoy the open-air baths overlooking the Kinugawa Valley with alkaline simple hot spring water, as well as the private baths and large kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with local ingredients such as Nikko 's famous Yuba(soy milk skin)and trout at the restaurant "Kogen." The Tochigi Yume Pork Shabu Shabu(Japanese hotpot)and whole trout sashimi are particularly delicious.

Kinugawa Plaza Hotel

530 Kinugawa Onsen Taki, Nikko

  • The room was spacious and clean with a great view.

  • This is a long-established, very large hotel. It was the Japanese-style room I wanted, overlooking the Kinugawa River. The room was spacious and clean, with a great view. Dinner was Buffet of Shabu Shabu(Japanese hotpot)and obanzai. It was healthy and delicious. The rice was very shiny and tasty. There were many types of tempura, and they were all warm. I tried all of them and they were all delicious.

Isshinkan

Kinugawa Onsen Taki 542-3

  • A Japanese-style room with a relaxing feel

  • The view of the Kinugawa River from the Japanese-style room window is beautiful, and it truly feels like a traditional hot spring inn. In addition to the usual Japanese-style rooms, there are also rooms with beds on tatami floors. Dinner is a set meal mainly featuring seasonal local ingredients. The inn also has a hot spring pool, spa house, and healing salon.

  • Comfortable and relaxing Japanese-style room

  • Sanraku is a Kinugawa Onsen inn located in a scenic spot along the Kinugawa River, where you can experience up close the beauty of the valley, which changes with the seasons. Our priority is to make our guests comfortable and relaxed, and we offer spacious Japanese-style rooms. Kinugawa Kanaya Hotel

1394 Kinugawa Onsen Ohara

  • You can enjoy the river view from every room.

  • Kinugawa Kanaya Hotel is proud of the fact that from every room you can see the mountain stream and greenery, and the spaciousness of the rooms. You can relax in a spacious Japanese-style room of your choice, feeling like you're in a villa. The dining room also has a view of the Japanese garden right in front of you, which is simply wonderful. Dinner is a creative kaiseki meal that combines Japanese and Western cuisine. There are many repeat customers at this hotel in Kinugawa Onsen, and although I stayed there with my wife only once a long time ago (about 20 years ago), the image of this hotel as a "first-class hotel" remains in my mind even now.

Ryokan Marukyo

1388-3 Ohara

  • A themed room for the week

  • This inn has nine rooms themed around the days of the week, such as Monday and Tuesday, and includes "Japanese" and "charcoal" themes. There are also charming pure Japanese-style rooms, so you're sure to like them. The hot springs that use charcoal are also a specialty of this inn.

  • This is a Japanese-style room with a calming atmosphere. It is a luxurious space where you can see the changing scenery of the seasons from the window. There are also rooms with a relaxing space, where a retro sunken kotatsu table has been given a modern twist. There is also a hot spring, with an indoor bath and an open-air bath made of stone and cypress wood, overlooking the Kinugawa River.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Hotel Kinugawa Gyoen

1-1 Fujiwara

  • A Japanese-style room where you can fully enjoy the beautiful mountain and river views from the window.

  • Hotel Kinugawa Gyoen has the only indoor tatami bath in Kinugawa Onsen, and the tatami room space allows you to enjoy a Japanese atmosphere while bathing in the hot spring. In addition, the hotel boasts an open-air bath with a dignified view overlooking the Kinugawa River. You can also feel the seasonal atmosphere of Kinugawa from the rooms, so it is recommended if you want to stay in a traditional Japanese-style room.

Wakatake no Syou Bettei Sasane

136 Fujihara, Nikkou-shi

  • A hideaway in nature

  • This inn is surrounded by nature, so you can experience each season up close. From the wooden deck terrace of the room, you can look down on the surface of the Kinugawa River, which shines a jade green depending on the weather. There are two types of rooms: a Japanese-Western style and a Japanese-style room only, and both are very beautifully designed.
