• This is a hotel with a laid-back atmosphere. I visited in early summer, so I didn't see the scenery in March, but in early summer, the lush greenery of the open-air bath garden was right in front of me, and I enjoyed it with a refreshing feeling. I only used the large public bath, but there was also a private open-air bath, and there are also rooms with open-air baths. At night, the lit-up trees were fantastic. Both dinner and breakfast were made with lots of local ingredients, and I enjoyed the Nozawana greens to my heart's content. The Japanese-style rooms in the new building were simple, yet neat and clean, and I was able to relax there. There are no play elements, but I recommend it for those who want to spend a relaxing time at the inn.

• Most of the inns in Nozawa Onsen are small, bed and breakfast-like, but this is probably the nicest hotel. They also have the open-air bath that I wanted. The spring quality was good, and the bath was very satisfying. The food was mainly local, and I enjoyed the deep-fried sweetfish, chicken hotpot, and earthenware pot.
