I'm going to Kinosaki Onsen with my girlfriend in January. I heard that there is a chance to see snow scenery because it is on the Japan Sea side. Are there any recommended hotels with outdoor baths with good views?

Reservations are required on the day, but there are two private open-air baths in Kinosaki Onsen, so you can have the snowy scenery all to yourself. There are also rooms with stone open-air baths. Dinner was sumptuous, with crab and Tajima beef sukiyaki. It was also conveniently located for touring soto-yu (public bathhouses).
