• This inn has an open-air private observation bath, so you can enjoy the view without any worries while you relax in the hot springs. At night, you can see a sky full of stars. This inn is on the opposite side of Kinosaki Onsen Station from the hot spring town, but that means you can enjoy a quiet stay even though it is close to the station. The hot spring town is on either side of the station, so it is an excellent location for sightseeing. The meal was a delicious kaiseki meal featuring Tajima beef, but there are many other plans to choose from. They also serve local sake unique to Tajima, so you can enjoy a drink as well. Colorful yukata are also available for women.

• The best part of Kinosaki Onsen is Visiting hot springs, and most inns don't put much effort into their indoor baths. However, at this inn you can enjoy a proper bath inside the building. You can fully enjoy the hot springs of Kinosaki in the open-air bath surrounded by lush trees and nature. There is also a private open-air bath where you can enjoy the hot springs without worrying about the people around you, which is also recommended.

• Although it is a little independent guest cottages from the center of Kinosaki Onsen, it is within walking distance, so you can enjoy a stroll. The room overlooks the courtyard and has a pure Japanese style, so it feels like you are staying at Ryokan (Japanese inn). It is not very big, but there is an open-air bath surrounded by rocks, which was very comfortable. The food was also better than expected.

• Kinosaki Onsen is a hot spring town that revolves around visiting soto-yu (public bathhouses), so we recommend using the soto-yu (public bathhouses) pass. This private open-air bath requires a reservation, so there is no stress of having to check if other guests are using it. (Many places say you can use it freely if it is available, so it can be difficult to decide when to leave the room.) The location is good and it is convenient for visiting the seven soto-yu (public bathhouses), and you can rent patterned yukata for women and original yukata for men, so you should have fun strolling around the hot spring town. While you're there, why not visit the amusement park, a specialty of Kinosaki? Maybe your father will find the retro Showa-era games, such as shooting galleries, pachinko, and smart balls, nostalgic. The food is of course delicious, but we also recommend staying overnight without meals. This is because if you ask reception desk about shops, they will tell you about various shops. You will be introduced to shops that only locals know, so you will feel like you have enjoyed Kinosaki to the fullest!
